You need Ray on your side. Why? Because he makes things better! If it can be done, it will be. If there's a chance, he'll find it. When you're at your lowest, he will help you. I've never written a review for a lawyer before, and I've hired six (6) previous ones in my lifetime. Ray's the best!... That's why I'm writing. Bad "Stuff" happened to me and my family: a drug charge, a domestic abuse charge, a DUI. Ray never judged, never looked down (like some other attorneys did in the past). In fact, he said: we all have issues, let's get back on the right track! We were treated with respect and with kindness (which was most appreciated at a low point in life). But most important: we received the BEST legal advice and representation available! All cases turned out favorably ... much better than expected (Rehab and probation). I'm still in awe. I've found the last attorney my family will ever need. Ray is above the rest! (by a long shot)

I've known Ray since my early 20's when he I met him at Oakland Community College. He was my teacher then, and unbeknownst to him an inspiration to later pursue a paralegal degree. Years later, when I found myself in trouble with the law for the first time in my life, I knew he was the only person I ...trusted to help. I had always kept his card with me in my wallet, and after all those years he remembered me from the class he taught. He put my mind at ease (and the minds of my family as well) as he explained what could and would happen if I followed his advice to the letter. I did just that, and my life has turned around dramatically. I owe Ray much more than I could ever give back to him. Any time I've had a question since the conclusion of my case, he has always gotten back to me quickly. In all fairness, writing a review for Ray cannot do him justice. You really need to meet him to know his character and amazing skill. I met first met Ray after being referred to him by a friend. Ray met with me the day after I called his office. He spoke with me at length. When we were done spea...king that day, he encouraged me to think about whether I wanted to hire him or even speak with other attorneys. I walked out of his office and walked right back in, knowing that he was the person I wanted on my side for what was to come. I was involved in an accident which tragically resulted in a fatality. Ray was there for me throughout the entire process. He advised me, not only on my case, but on how to move on with actually living. Not only is he intelligent and really, REALLY exceptional at what he does; he is also kind, caring, compassionate, and honest. He easily won over everyone in the room each time we met (which is obviously a huge advantage when you find yourself in a courtroom). He answered emails and phone calls and took as much time to speak with me as I needed. He even promptly responded to emails when he was on vacation out of the country. He did these things because he truly cares about people as human beings, not just as clients. At the end of this tumultuous year, my case ended in a true miracle. Although I could have been sentenced to jail time, I was fined a small fee. The probation officer on the case told me that she had never seen a case like this end without probation. Words cannot describe the way that Ray pleasantly commands the room or the way that he orchestrates every aspect of a case in order to get the best outcome. Words cannot describe my gratitude to have had Ray on my side. Meet him. You will see it too.

I am an addict in recovery, and was facing some pretty serious charges when Ray was suggested to me. My family and I, sat down with Ray and I told him my story, and he listened. Not only did he just listen, he truly cared, and let me know thing we’re going to be ok. He made sure my parents were both ...ok and let them and I know what was going on consistently. He assured me, if I stayed clean and sober that he would make sure my family and I would be ok. I was very worried, for I was bringing in a new life into this world and was certain I wouldn’t make it out of my mandatory jail sentence in time for the birth of my first son. I asked Ray to help me in any way possible, and he did. Ray got me the minimum on everything and got me out in time to see my son be born. Rays entire firms work was a miracle and a blessing and I will forever remain grateful for each one of them.

I called Ray to ask him to assist with a motion for early discharge from probation. As a law student, I was capable of writing it myself but wanted experience backing my motion. So I called for a consultation. Ray called to tell me that if I can do it I should do it because most lawyers would take... my money and he wanted to save it. He saved me thousands of dollars for a result I was hoping for. Because of that, he is honest, respectful and straightforward; my previous attorney will not even answer the phone. I would recommend him even though I never was a client.
