Bad public speaking.

I watched the who Crimbley trial and for an attorney you really need to memorize your facts better when dealing with such a high profile case. How can you sit there and talk about gun locks with no evidence supporting your claims? Do you nor realize how silly you looked and sounded. And why did you n...ot mention the fact that an on duty officer was at the school and not called to the office to check the students belongings and licker and person before ever giving a choice of whether or not to leave Ethan in school? You want to get your client off you need to learn how to pai t a picture and not be looking down at papers, get your head in the game. Automatically the school after seeing such a hatendous crime should of made a decision to not only search, but charge and expel Ethan Crumbley. Everybody blaming the parents, but if they were so negligent why were there no other visits at the school prior. Ethan premeditated all this on his own including journal entries and target practice getting ready for only what he knew ge was going to do. There calling them criminals, but on what accord, what criminal record. I'm trying to help by the way.

Shannon for President

Shannon is amazing. Not sure how Jennifer Crumbley retained her as she turns away 90-95% of all who seek her. At first, she annoyed me with all her objections but I came to realize a woman's life and freedom is on the line and Shannon is just actively fighting for her client. She is supportive, wise,... logical, professional and a go getter. Ethan's parents should never have been charged. Did they miss some signs, yes? My mom missed many signs when I was being abused but I'm not blaming her. If they are found guilty, parents everywhere will be charged with "crimes." The prosecution is reaching. Shannon is right on top of it all. Her objections are right on point and the judge seems to agree. I feel sorry for the victims and their families but this mom and dad didn't do wrong. All parents miss cues. The school seems more responsible than the parents as mandated reporters. I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Shannon was hot in the closing compared to clown Karen McDonald. I can't believe people actually elected the clown Karen McDonald for prosecutor. She just loves to ruin families.

Active Defense

Shannon is great and helped me through a time of sheer panic. Her knowledge, strategy, raport with the police, solid communication skills, and strong organization was a critical factor in me not even being charged. I would strongly recommend Shannon to anyone in a similar situation.

Best of the Best in so Many Regards

Shannon was truly a blessing in my family’s most tremulous time. I was falsely accused of sexual assault through both local police and my university. Being in a state of complete distress, suffering from PTSD (police removal), and the weight of what was at stake – Shannon was able to calm not onl...y myself but my entire family. As I was never charged – Shannon was proactive in every area. We made sure that all evidence of false claims was laid out in the most basic terms. Friends were talked to, social media interactions were combed, and lie detector tests were taken. Shannon knew every area to cover and made sure it was done promptly and professionally. Her knowledge of local law enforcement officials and connections allowed us to learn of any new or pending updates as well as prepare proper work. In regards to the university – due to the poor review system in place Shannon was unable to act as my speaker for my “trial.” However, Shannon worked with school advisors on being allowed by my side during the hearing as well as coaching me on what needed to be said and helping lay out my ideas, evidence, and testimonials. Due to all of Shannon’s great work and patience the truth came to light as I was never charged with any crime and the university unanimously found me innocent in relation to student code violations.

Successful Setaside Outcome CSC 4 - Macomb

Shannon Smith did an outstanding job at determining a plan and preparing for the hearing. She knows the law in this particular area very well and was able to win each argument against the prosecutor during the hearing. I was lucky to find her and glad I hired her.
