Guided the case with confidence and professionalism.

Steven Reed and his team was my immediate choice after realizing I was in over my head regarding court procedures and tactics. He led me through the process with determination, confidence, and understanding of the emotions involved - I didn't need to be concerned about anything court-related and tha...t was worth the investment, which was very reasonable and fair. I highly recommend Reed Law Group to anyone seeking law representation.

Recommendation of Steven A. Reed

Steven A. Reed handled my recently settled divorce case. I would recommend the Reed Law firm for several reasons including care and concern for the clients well-being, reasonable cost and making sure the client was educated and prepared for each step in the process. Most importantly Steven guided m...e through the mediation process with the utmost professionalism. What is a very stressful and emotional time was made much more manageable by having Steven's guidance and support.

The best of the best

Steve is great and so is his legal team! Helped me through a traumatic child support hearing. My ex has taken me to court almost every two years for every little thing trying to get even with me for divorcing him. I have used this law firm every time and ALWAYS came out on top! He is a little hig...her in price but you get what you pay for and I got my money's worth for sure! No one wants to go to court, but if you do, you want the BEST! Thanks Reed law firm!

Steven A. Reed a tough caring lawyer

Mr. Reed is a caring involved lawyer. In my case he was as concerned about me as a client as he was about the legal issues. What impressed me most in my research is that he is a winner. He is a bulldog in court, and his results were as promised. He always kept me up to date on where we were in th...e process, and most importantly he kept my head straight. One thing that impressed me about him was his thoroughness and attention to detail. He knew things about the opposing party that even I did not know. His fees seemed like a lot at the time, but being a businessman I checked the other firms and found he was only slightly higher in price than average. I was surprised to get his bills and see many "no charge" hours. Now that the case is finished I think it was the best money I have ever spent. Although he was not available every time I called him, he always returned my calls the same day I left a message. He even called me once on a break from a seminar he was attending, and on a Saturday afternoon he called me from the U of M stadium. For anyone who cannot take straight talk, he may seem a bit aggressive. He tells it like it is, and was not shy about bluntly letting me know how my actions were hurting my position and what i should do to minimize problems. He does not suffer fools well and is very aggressive in his dealings with opposing counsel. . He expected me as his client to take an active role in my case. and to be totally truthful with him. I learned not to be embarrassed in sharing things with him that did not show me in the best light. He was not judgmental but did make serious effort to help me through the life-altering, emotional highs and lows of the case. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who is in need of a strong advocate who will fight for you from start to finish.

Do yourself a favor and find another lawyer

Steve handled my divorce. He is personable and a good listener, so I decided to hire him. His rate was low, and at the time, I thought I had a great deal on what I spent. However, he didn't do a good negotiation, left some terms of the agreement poorly written, and now 3 years after the divorce wa...s settled, I'm still grappling with problems derived from his poor negotiation and writing, and I wish I had hired someone more expensive who had done a better job. In particular, he crippled my income prospects by agreeing to a variable clause that I'm trying to overturn, he did not define clearly specific income to be used in calculations (gross income, gross receipts, adjusted taxable, net income) and this is still biting me on discussions with my ex, didn't include basics like a clause where my ex would lose support if she cohabitated with a new person, etc. During these 3 years I have had to learn and inform myself about different aspects of the divorce agreements in order to deal with the consequences of Steve's poor performance. At the time of the divorce, you are emotionally compromised, and in many cases, it is your first rodeo. You don't know what you don't know, and expect your attorney to be a hawk defending your interests, not just waiting for you to direct him. I don't know if my experience was an outlier, because he had great ratings at the time, and still has... however, I can't recommend him to anyone.
