Upon the complete breakdown of my marriage of 20 years I was completely lost and was unsure of where to turn or even how the process works, I was given Amy's contact info from a close friend and I made the decision to call, she got me into her office right away and she listened to my concerns, listen...ed to the things that were going on in my life, during that initial visit i was really in need of someone to listen to me, someone to verify that what i was going through was not normal, for me this was the lowest point of my life, i know that she could sense i was not emotionally well, she made sure that i was positive this was what i wanted and then it was if she took the weight of the world off my shoulders, she took over everything, i told her that she had to protect me from myself because i was about to lay down and roll over, I could write all day about the personal side of her, on the legal side i was blown away by her intellect and vast knowledge of the laws the courts the custody, she is very well prepared, very confident, she instilled confidence in me that i didn't even know i had, she doesn't hesitate to finish the little details she attacks everything like an athlete, phone calls, emails, faxes etc, i never felt uninformed or unaware of the next steps or the potential hang ups. she was sensitive, thoughtful and detailed. Amy fought my case as if i were a part of her family. there was at least one instance where i walked into her office with a major concern and no appointment and she was able to resolve the issue that day.
