I was charged with Brandishing a Firearm in Public. Cy Abdo was able to work with the Prosecutor and the Judge to reduce the charge to a very low Disturbing the Peace offense. Further the court took it under MCL 771.1 and dismissed the charge with no period of probation, no loss of CPL or gun right...s. Cy is a gentleman, straight shooter and well respected by the courts. I made a mistake which wound up being a felony and of course had me very scared as I am not someone who has spent their life in and out of courts and jails.
