Understands the system and gets justice

George helped me out of a situation that had become hopeless. My wife, who is autistic and also suffers from clinical depression and anxiety, and I were involved in a domestic altercation while she was off of her medication. The police were called and, although the incident was non-violent, I was a...rrested. During questioning, she was manipulated by the officers into reporting a second incident that had occurred months before but that we had already moved past. This resulted in two assault charges against me, one with intent to do great bodily harm. Since she was off of her medication, my wife's statement was full of inaccuracies and exaggerations. I knew that she had been taken advantage of by the police and the detective on the case, and coaxed into believing she was doing the right thing by reporting the incidents. Unfortunately, while still off of her medication, she later backed up her statements at the probable cause hearing which made the situation quickly go from bad to dumpster fire. I spent a total of two months in jail as a result of the initial arrest and a bond violation which was due to a failed attempt get my wife get back on her medication so she would see the damage being done. By the time I got out of jail the second time, my wife had been back on my medications for a while, and realized just how dire and serious the situation had become. As the only bread winner, and the only one who had access to the finances, my absence from work was threatening to destroy not just my life but hers and my son's (who is also autistic) as well. When she reached out to me, and I agreed to talk - yes, I had to violate bond again to try to fix everything - she was extremely anxious and not doing well at all. We needed everything undone, and quickly. But neither the police nor the prosecution would listen. Once your in the system, you are stuck, even if the complainant was not of sound mind when reporting the crimes. I had hired a lawyer while in jail, but he had no experience with situations like this and could not help any further. That's where George came in. I found his information online while trying to get answers on how to handle a predicament like this one. This turned out to be the best decision. George is a lifesaver. Not only did George come through on his promise to make things right, he was able to get all charges dismissed in just a few weeks. Without George, I don't know that the situation would have had a happy ending. If you are stuck and don't know where to turn, call George now.

Most genuine fighter and most helpful!

George represented me in a case that had ZERO hope of no jail time, and I’d be lucky if I didn’t go to prison for at least 2. The end result was zero jail time, zero fines, zero anything basically. I only got a one year probation extension, and my record is very long. He was great with his price and ...was always very helpful when I needed guidance on what I should do next. Top Lawyer in Michigan

I retained Attorney George Brown after being charged with assault GBH/strangulation and domestic violence in Livingston County. At the time I had never been charged with a crime before so being charged with a 10 year felony was life shattering. I was expecting the case to go to trial so I did some re...search on exceptional "trial attorneys" in Michigan, which led me to Lewis & Dickstein / Notafraidtowin. I scheduled a consultation and met with George. I briefly explained the case and circumstances to him and immediately felt that George would do everything in his power to get me the best outcome possible. George answered all of the questions he could at the time and even answered questions from my family. After retaining George, he went straight to work by examining all of the case details and submitting FOIA requests on the alleged "victim". George also scheduled a polygraph, coordinated with private investigators and hired a SANE nurse to testify at trial. Even while juggling all of those tasks, George was STILL able to answer every one of my phone calls. It turned out that one of the FOIA requests George submitted showed the alleged "victim" made similar claims 2 months after my arrest which were found to be false . The strangulation and domestic charges were ultimately pled down to disturbing the peace. I was highly impressed with George's attention to detail throughout the process and how he was able to attack my case from multiple angles rather than charging straight into trial, even though that was what I initially wanted. I recommend Attorney George Brown for criminal defense for Immigrants

My mother's case was represented by Attorney George Brown in the 52-3 District Rochester Hills Court, known as one of the toughest court in Michigan. This case had multiple challenges and could have potential immigration implications. He knew what had to be done to prevent any collateral consequence ...related to immigration and has excellent connections with other leading lawyers from other practice areas, including immigration. The prosecution office and courts hold George in high regard. He took the case all the way to the SUV (Special Victim Units) Director level and successfully negotiated a plea agreement of a lower charge that avoided any negative immigration consequences without going to a trial. Also, I commend him for effectively interacting with a client who does not speak English. George is, in my view, ethical and knowledgeable. I would recommend hiring Attorney George Brown, especially for immigrants.
