An Attorney That Stands Above Others

For anyone who has never had to find an attorney before, this review is for you. I’ve never had any prior issues with the law, but as they say, there’s a first time for everything. Like many people in that position, I didn’t really know what to look for or even what questions to ask. I found George ...Brown somewhat by accident—through Google searches, reading reviews, and calling around to speak with different attorneys. From our very first conversation, George stood out. He was welcoming, transparent, and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process. He was also upfront about costs, which I really appreciated. His approach is a great balance—highly professional, yet approachable and easy to talk to. In fact, he has a way of making you feel like you’re talking to one of your own, which I mean as a true compliment. His depth of legal knowledge was a major advantage. He was able to strategically combine cases and secure reduced outcomes, which gave me significant peace of mind. Throughout the process, he emphasized that we were partners, encouraging me to keep him involved in all communications with the court and my probation officer. That level of engagement and support made a huge difference. This experience could have gone very differently with the wrong representation, so I’m incredibly grateful that I found George. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, honest, and supportive attorney.

Great legal work and incredible instincts. A lawyer who cared and worked hard to win.

I met George Brown at the law firm he previously worked at when he was assigned my case. It was a pretty high profile case and all the news agencies were calling for interviews and comments. I relied on George to put some space between me and the reporters and he did a fantastic job. The case spanned... nearly 3 years. It was overwhelming to say the least. I called him numerous times over those years. He ALWAYS answered, texted, or at least called back within the hour. He answered all my questions, listened to my diatribes of political persecutions (of which there were many) and he talked me off of my ledges (there were a few). He stuck to his strategy even when I questioned it. I wanted something that would satisfy my mind, but he never lost sight of what the case needed. Hindsight tells me he was right…and I now think what a relief it was that I listened to him…however, still a bit begrudgingly. George was the first to find a crack in the AG’s case and bring it to the judge. While it didn’t change the Judge’s mind that day, it did play a part in the end. And when the end did come, and all charges were dropped, I knew it was because of some great legal work (and the fact we were innocent of the charges.) Through it all, I appreciated his constant support and total belief in me. And I wouldn’t hesitate even a moment to hire him again should I need to.

Professional calm and actually cares

I worked with George Brown on getting my old Michigan felonies set aside so I could get my firearm rights back, and honestly, he made the whole thing way easier than I expected. I’m in Ohio, so everything was handled through a Zoom court hearing, and he had it under control from start to finish. ... What stood out the most was how much he stayed in touch. He called, checked in, walked me through what to expect, practiced with me, and made sure I wasn’t going into anything blind. Something that should’ve been super stressful ended up feeling calm and manageable because of how he handled it. You can tell he actually cares about his clients and what they’re trying to accomplish. He cared about my goals, and that’s something you don’t always get with a lawyer. If you want someone dependable who really knows what he’s doing and treats your case like it matters, George Brown is the guy to call!!! Thanks again George !!

Trustworthy and experienced man

I have worked with George multiple times over the last several years. My particular issue was a custody battle involving children that led to a severe case of parent alienation. Multiple children made false allegations of abuse against me over a period of years at the behest and enabling of their mot...her. I would say a more complex situation is rare. Yet, throughout all of it, George gave me sound advice and a calming, reasonable perspective. Despite my own frusterations and being less than reasonable myself at times. George is experienced, he knows how things go, and he knows how to get stuff done. In my opinion his fee structure is great compared to other criminal defense lawyers of his caliber. Bottom line is there is nothing I wouldn't trust to this man when it comes to my legal defense. On the last case we ended up with a prosecutor initiated dismissal (Nolle Prosequi), on a capital crime, after years of litigation. Just got the final order yesterday and it's so amazing! One thing to keep in mind is these things can take time, but just because it takes time doesn't mean your loosing. Trust George and stay patient through your struggle and I know it will turn out for your deliverance. Thank you so much George for all of your time and hard work!

The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday

I didn’t know I could be inspired by a lawyer until I met George Brown. He’s represented me through a legal battle that is excruciatingly difficult, still ongoing, complicated, emotional, and at times overwhelming. The situation involves a highly contentious Personal Protection Order (PPO), false ...allegations, CPS investigations, serious criminal charges, family law issues across two states, and even negotiated extradition orders. It’s the kind of case that drags every part of your life into court. And yet, through every phase, George has brought clarity, strategy, and calm. There was one moment I’ll never forget. A judge made a ruling that clearly went against the law. He stood up, on record, and challenged the decision—not for show, but because it was wrong. He did it respectfully, but firmly. And I knew in that moment he wasn’t just doing a job. He was defending me, my children, and something bigger—our right to fair treatment. George has been honest with me, available when I needed answers, and adaptable in high-pressure hearings. He’s answered my calls on weekends. He focuses on what matters. No fluff, no posturing—just steady, smart legal work when everything else felt out of control. When I spent a short time in Oakland County Jail, I met another Veteran who had been sitting in custody for months without movement on his case. His lawyer wasn’t helping him. I gave him George’s name and number. Within a week of George picking it up, he was out. One thing I’ve learned is that respect matters in the courtroom—judges, prosecutors, clerks—they all know which attorneys are serious and prepared, and which ones aren’t. George is respected in those rooms. You can feel it. I’m sharing my experience because when you’re in a legal fight, especially one that affects your family and your future, it’s nearly impossible to know who will truly show up for you. George Brown continues to show up for me, time and time again. Thank you, George.
