Awesome Attorney

I live out of state and needed to hire an attorney for probation violation. After researching law firms in Oakland County, we came across this firm, after checking out their credentials and reviews I sent a contact email on a Friday evening. To my surprise I received a call on Sunday from the firm ad...vising me to call them. On Monday morning I received a call from a George advising me that Mr. Lewis requested he call me. After talking to George I knew he would be the right attorney to handle my case. He kept me updated to the progress through out the process and was always prompt in returning calls or emails. My case was handle in a expedited manner and to a satisfactory conclusion. I highly recommend George, as he is proficient, competent, and well versed in the law.

Expungement Won

Back in 2005 I plead guilty to 1 count of embezzlement over 20,000. In 2012 I applied for and expungement and was denied. This year 2018 I applied again applied for expungement again. George was my attorney at Lewis and Dickstein. They were the same firm I used when I pleaded guilty to embezzlemen...t and they handled my first expungement hearing. I had never met George he called me on the phone and emailed me introducing himself. He let me know this was not going to easy because I was denied the first time. He never promised me a thing but was always optimistic and letting me know he was on top of things. Every time I sent George an email or left a phone message he responded to my message. Letting me know he was working on things and what he was doing. He told me what I had to do. George was very easy to talk with he never used any legal language. I had never met George before but way he communicated with me it was like I was his only client my friend. I first met George on the date of my expungement hearing. George laid out what his strategy was going to be. He said we was going to listen and plead my case and go from there. He said he was going to argue it unless he had to. I live in a very rural area people in my area look down at big city attorneys. George really fit it. He talked with the prosecutor before my case and court personal before the hearing. He pleaded my case and my expungement was granted. George never seemed like a lawyer more like a best friend. Someone who really cared about what he was doing and about my case. He was really easy to talk with. I would recommend George and law firm Lewis and Dickstein in a heart beat.

SHARP, ON TASK, GOES THE EXTRA MILE and did it all ELOQUENTLY

I retained George Brown with the hope that he could make a miracle happen. My past criminal record that included 12 felonies, 4 prison terms and 8 misdemeanors, doesn't play a good highlight reel. Negotiating for a plea agreement seemed like a fairy tale myth. But not only did he find a legal basis t...o negotiate a plea deal, he also found a hole in the prosecution's case that would have had a good chance of acquitting me at trial. He honored my wishes for pushing a negotiated Cobb's Agreement and against all odds pushed it across the finish line - PROBATION, NO JAIL!! I in all my 61 years of life have never witnessed an attorney aggressively handling my case, fighting for me, always being 10 steps ahead of the prosecution, caring about me and my future and effectively executing a well thought out defense plan to my benefit. What a GREAT ATTORNEY. He gave me my life back.

Thank you, sir. It was an honor getting to know you and your wife. Your criminal record certainly played heavily into the prosecution's position as well as the judge's interpretation of your character. I am glad that, despite those constraints, we were able to convince both that you are not a man who is necessarily defined by past misdeeds. I commend you on your dedication to self-improvement and am happy you are now where you belong: at home with your family.

Exceeded All Expectations

My case was extremely complicated given the incident occurred 34 years ago and the records to substantiate my clear record were lost in a fire at the courthouse in 1997. I live out of state so I had to place all my trust in George and the firm. George exceeded my expectations in every regard. Des...pite the geographic and time distance George was available or very timely in his communication. He kept me in constant communication about the status of my case and provided with me all the necessary instructions or documents to support the proceedings. George really fought for me, and was tireless in his efforts to set the record straight. He is well respected in the criminal system there and I feel the relationships he has with the courts and Judges helped him resolve my issue without a long tedious trial and my having to return to the state to appear. George took care of all of that. He was totally open and honest about what he believed it would take and worked with me on a fee structure I felt was fair to the both us and in my opinion was totally worth every cent. I highly recommend George if you should need a lawyer who gets results.
