Expungement

I recently hired Attorney George MacAvoy Brown to expunge an old misdemeanor of a domestic violence that was plead down but lost my gun rights. As a result unbeknownst to me at the time. Years later I tried to purchase a firearm and was denied. I then hired Attorney Brown and he walked me right throu...gh all the steps to finally clear my name. He was very friendly and talked to me like a person and not a criminal. Any questions I had along the way he answered very fast and was always open to talk if I needed to along the way. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with him. We just had our day in court and we won! If I was to do it all over again I’d hired him in a second. He’s not afraid to win. If I need need an Attorney again in my life he will be my first phone call. Thanks for everything was a pleasure going through this with you Attorney Brown.

George is the man, potentially saved my career.

So I’m a newly practicing physician who was accused of domestic violence. Which, as you probably know, could mean bad news for my license and future. On top of that, I was not allowed to see my kids (ages 1 and 2) Now the thing is, there was plenty of evidence that I was the victim rather than the pe...rp, but unfortunately, predetermined bias ( I suspect) led to my arrest. My brother found George online and he actually called back on a Sunday, and with the raving reviews I hired him. If I could sum up George’s description in one sentence it would be “restless and always on top of it.” Basically he didn’t stop until he got my case completely dismissed and biometric data. (Finger prints, arrest records and such completely wiped). You might have heard, but dismissals in DV cases are extremely rare despite many men being falsely accused, but George did everything that needed to be done and got the case dismissed , my record clean and thereby saving my career and reuniting me with my kids, and for that, I am eternally grateful

Expungment case

I hired George about 18 months ago to do, what should have been a simple case. When we started this process, the michigan state police records show I was eligble to set aside a felony from 20 years ago. The court records were wrong and imcomplete. A year into the case, we found that the AG of MI was ...oppossing the process due to other charges. Everybody was telling us just to stop at this point, because we had no chance of success. Without going into to many details, we were able to have a couple felonys thrown out, and plead down to lesser charges. Also have another misterminer dropped completly, due to the courts negligence to keep accurate records. When it was finally time to go in front of the judge, my record was cleared. Long story short, anybody looking to have records expunged should definitly hire George. I could not be happier with him, and his persistence.

Best Attorney in Michigan

George macAvoy brown is one of the best lawyer i every had. I had three courts one felony and he got all them dissmiss. If you want a great attorneys that cares call george. And by the way i was on the run for six mouth and he still got me a pass. Great guy better Attorney.

Great Lawyer!

Compared to previous experiences, I could not be happier with Mr. Brown as my lawyer. He really did a great job from start to finish and made my previous lawyer look like a public defender. He was very thorough, collecting a range of paperwork to make our case and submit to the court before my sente...ncing date. I have no doubt that without him I'd still be in jail.
