The best lawyer I ever could have asked for

The world is a crazy place, and sometimes when we encounter troubling experiences it is hard to know where to turn. Hiring a lawyer is one of the hardest obstacles for a person to confront when addressing a legal matter, and with some of the general stigma that lawyers are subjected to - it can be in...credibly nerve-racking. I really wasn't sure where to begin addressing my legal matter, or how to find the place that would be able to help me the most. I talked with a handful of lawyers before finding George Brown. Many of them were intimidating, and I felt as if they did not listen to what I had to say before developing their opinions about the case. However, George heard everything I had to say and considered everything I felt before coming up with a concise, professional, and realistic perspective about how I should continue forward. I was facing a very severe charge, and instead of making me fearful, he gave me hope. He understands the law and is able to explain it in a fashion similar to that of an educator. He cared about my retention of the things we went over and I could tell that he genuinely cares about my well-being. It must be unfathomably hard to deal with so many different cases, and to still hold no judgement over a person. The situation I was in was complex, unique, and daunting, but he was able to walk me through the court processes, from arraignment to sentencing, and what was originally going to be a felony, was dropped to a misdemeanor. I ended up not serving any jail time, and the sentence I received was one that I feel was just, and considerate of who I am as a person. George Brown is worth every single penny I paid him and more. I could not have asked for a more compassionate, attentive, thorough, and determined lawyer to stand by my side throughout all of this. I will never be able to thank him enough for the way that he has helped me and protected my rights and my future in the name of justice. I would highly recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Fantastic Help and Support with a Probation violation.

George Brown did a fantastic job helping with a probation violation. It was a honest mistake, George listened and helped us put together all the information needed. George was able to show the court that the probation violation wasn't willful and didn't indicate a lack to commitment to complete proba...tion. Through his hard work the testing requirement was lowered enough to substantially help pay for his services!

Excellent Job

Ther best choice I've made this year is hiring George Brown! He's very knowledgeable and professional! I hired him to get my probation order amended and he had no problems. Every question I had got an immediate response and he stayed in contact the whole time. I was promised a violatin by my agent bu...t everything was so expedited they have time to violate me.. I would recommend him to anyone! It was truly a pleasure and I thank you so very much for the outstanding job!

Achieved Best Possible Outcome

We hired George after another lawyer indicated to us that we could appeal a previous verdict because of extenuating circumstances. Initially, I was charged with felonies for assaulting/resisting/obstructing police officers, and this was reduced to use of marijuana with 6 months of probation with t...he help of another lawyer. What we hadn't realized was that a use of marijuana charge would negatively impact my immigration situation. Because of this, I was advised to appeal the previous outcome. We found George on Google as one of the best lawyers in Michigan and subsequently hired him. George worked hard on my case to reduce it to a disturbing the peace charge with HYTA privileges. To call this a home run wouldn't be melodramatic! However, even getting this appeal taken seriously, in the first place, wasn't easy. George had to negotiate with the prosecutor's office and run the deal by our immigration attorney repeatedly until he reached the best deal. He then had to convince the judge as well. What he did was not easy by any means, for convincing a judge and prosecutor to accept a greatly reduced charge takes outstanding talent. George was also very communicative and responded to our questions promptly. He always kept us reassured and realistically hopeful. I recommend George to anyone seeking a top attorney.

Saved My Career

After a failure of a night on New Year's Eve, I was in trouble. George was the first lawyer I had faith in. Other lawyers said I was going to have to complete probation and have a criminal record. They only spoke of plea deals which I would not want to take. I couldn't let this happen for my care...er. When I read the reviews and saw how Lewis & Dickstein could get cases dismissed, I decided it would be worth every penny I had to give it a shot. Long story short, George strategically had me take action before my court date and fought for me to ensure the best possible deal. Conclusion: Case dismissed! Now I can leave this mistake in the past and continue on with my life thanks to George. Highly Recommend.
