The SEXUAL HARASSMENT attorney that will make them pay for it/HONEST/sincere/aggressive/passionate/responsive/HARD WORKING
If you are looking for an attorney that will have your back completely … this is your guy. Never once over my 2 year long litigation process did he fail to call me back, and it was usually within an hour of my missed call if he even missed it to begin with. He was aggressive with my case and kept... me in the loop constantly. I was very nervous about initiating a lawsuit, and even more nervous about trusting an attorney. My family had warned me that the possibility of getting ripped off by an attorney was probably more likely than getting justice for my problem. Jason proved them wrong. The day i started calling attorneys to tell my story and ask for help, he immediately set up a meeting with me (others had told me to file claims with the EEOC first and then call them back). After our first meeting he told me he would contemplate taking my case over the weekend and would let me know on Monday. The next i spoke with him he said he believed my story and he only took clients whose story he believed and whose’s cases he thought would win.
The timeline and the details within my case were very detailed. Towards the end he was remembering all of the different incidents and people involved in my case better than I could from my own memories. I still cannot comprehend the hours on end that him and his associates took to write up all of the documentation, being careful to not mess up a single detail and at times maxing out the number of pages allowed to be submitted to a judge. Him and his staff were so meticulous that it was almost therapeutic to read the documentation relaying my problems. It affirmed that what had been done to me was wrong, i was finally going to be heard, and EVERY LITTLE wrong doing was going to be put on the table right in front of the millionaire company owner that used to be my employer.
While in mediation i was overwhelmed … I told Jason that i wanted him to decide wether we should take the offer or not and would leave it up to him. He wouldn’t let me. He said it was my decision and that there was absolutely no pressure to sway me towards the easy money or lead me into trial. He was willing to take any chance that i wanted to take but was very straight with me about the risks. When witnessing our conversation, the mediation attorney (attorney that goes back and forth between opposing attorneys to try to get a settlement agreement) went out of his way to tell me that i had a very good attorney. I believe he was honestly taken aback by Jason. At the end of the day, we decided to take the risk and decline all offers .... this REALLY paid off.
Another memory I have of Jason was when he politely asked me during a break on mediation day, if i would mind if he made a quick phone call back to one of his other clients. I had said of course to go ahead. Overhearing small pieces of the conversation i could tell that he was assuring another client about a settlement on their case. He didn't give me the info about who it was, obviously, but i could tell that it made him really happy to help out this person even though it wasn't a big money lawsuit... but a big deal for the client himself.
This guy WILL TELL IT TO YOU STRAIGHT. If you are anything like i was before meeting him you are probably wondering if people like that exist anymore. As if changing my life and raising my bank account balance immensely wasn't enough, listening to Jason and seeing his reaction to me after i recounted my issues to him, gave me hope that that there are good people in this world. Walking the streets of downtown Nashville, knowing that their are good people like Jason up in the top of the Renaissance tower fighting for those that have reached the end of their rope makes me have faith. Even if we hadn't been successful with the case, just having somebody as genuine as him fight for me would have been worth the trouble. He is what you need.
