I have used Hog & Gartlan Law Firm for both personal and professional needs and I find them very thorough and courteous. I know very little about the law and my rights within the law so my biggest concern is not being able to communicate my issues and concerns. When counseling with Mr. Gartlan he has... always been very judicious in his approach to dealing with the legal matters I have presented him. Several felony's just got out of jail and facing possible 10 years in state i retained Mr Gartlan . I was gave a phone number to his line so if i had questions all i had to do was ask. I was also warned of all court dates well in advance and was explained what was could happen what might happen and i knew what i was facing all the way through the process ! bottom line i had several 1st degree felonies and several misdemeanors and well knew what the out come should have been BUT we settled with one 2nd degree felony court referral , and he explained this to me ! stay clean get your life back and do what the courts tell you and every thing will be ok ! and so i did so! today i am out of the court system and have finished all the ask of me for the wrong i did and guess what because of what Mr Gartlan i have got a pardon from the state of Alabama and i am a free man with a clean record ! thank you so much Mr Gartlan or if i may my friend forever who showed me how to save my life when i was having trouble doing so THANK YOU SO MUCH!

When my husband was wrongly accused of a serious crime by a very disturbed family member, we hired Mr. Gartlan for representation on the recommendation of another. It turned out to be the best choice we could have made. That, combined with the fact that the alleged victim did not want to return to the state for trial so would have to be brought forcefully, ultimately led the District Attorney's office to dismiss all of the charges. While it would have been ideal for the law enforcement officers involved to have actually done some sort of investigating prior to charging my husband solely based upon the story of a disturbed person, we are thankful that when he was arrested and charged, we were given Aaron Gartlan's name.
