Let John Watts take the weight off your shoulders.

My husband and I had not heard anything from our credit card company in almost a year. We had hoped to settle with them after he lost his job, but nothing was offered. The contact we did eventually receive was a notice that we had been sued. All manner of anxiety and worry settled on us. After a Goog...le search and a couple of YouTube videos we located the information about John Watts. The first call was a general conversation in which we received excellent information on how to proceed. The fantastic part was there was no pressure for us to hire the firm to receive advice. After reviewing our options and information provided we decided that hiring the firm was absolutely in our best interests. The contract was simple to understand and left no doubts as to the amount we would be charged for the services offered. We chose to handle most communications via e-mail and it made for a seamless process. The amounts needed to settle were explained fully and we were advised on how we could settle with lump sums or monthly payments. All communications were in simple, easy to understand language. We reached a settlement without a court appearance and follow-up from John Watts was on a friendly, professional level. If you are sued by a credit card company you can choose to handle the settlement yourself or hire an attorney. Our recommendation to anyone that is facing this situation is to not handle the situation alone. The feeling of relief when we received the “Case Dismissed” notice was well worth the fees for representation and we were still able to settle for less than full amount.

Thank you for this detailed feedback. I know I don't like pressure so I don't ever want any potential client to feel pressure from us to hire us. Now, sometimes court deadlines create pressure but we never want to add to that. I'm glad you found the folks in my firm helpful -- that is great to know. I made one call to John Watts office. I spoke with a representative he told me all of my options. After I choose one, John G. Watts did what he promised. He got my case settle without me having to go to court. It was done in such a short amount of time also. I recommend John G. Watts to anyone with d...ebt lawsuits.

Everything I wish for from an attorney!

Promised help, lost hope

I asked for help in regards to a legal issue. I put in hours of work (writing letters, making phone calls, etc...) that the office personnel asked me to do in order to make my case. For a period of time I had no communication (email and didn't return phone calls) with the firm until I sent them an em...ail stating I was going to hire another lawyer. That is when I finally heard from the attorney as he stated he needed some more information, but he never tried to contact or call. After three months of sending emails (they did not want to see me in person) and paperwork I finally had to handle the situation on my own.

I am sorry you did not have a good experience with our firm. I'm not sure who this is as this is an anonymous review but I do apologize we did not respond to you as quickly as we should have. People contact us at various points in their legal situation. Some are just beginning and they need to pull information or do dispute letters, or gather documents etc. Others are at the end -- they have been sued or have filed a lawsuit. So we do our best where-ever a potential client is to help them get to the next step. Often we don't know if there is a case until this phase is completed and we see what happens. Again I regret that we did not move quickly enough in your situation and I would like to speak with you -- call and ask Randi or Carolyn to set up a call with me directly so I can understand your situation and what went wrong. I want to make anything I can right with you and also correct any problems so this does not happen again. Excellent Representation!!

John and his team are extremely professional, straight forward, and very personable! When they took on my lawsuit, he and his team took the time to explain every one of my options to me in a very straight forward and easy to understand way!
