2013 I hired a local attorney to help with the eviction of an extremely troublesome tenant. The attorney touted himself as a real estate expert so I was confident he could handle my simple eviction proceeding. Well, I was sorely mistaken! The matter dragged on through the courts for more than 6 mont...hs with no resolution. All the while the problem tenant remained in my property while I received no rent. As each day passed I grew more frustrated at the thought of this jerk living rent free in my property and there was seemingly nothing I could do about it. One day, while explaining my situation to a friend, Mr. Timothy Lucero's name came up. My friend had used him to handle several issues successfully. He suggested I contact him to explain the circumstances to see if he could help. I placed the call to Mr. Lucero and I knew almost immediately that he was the person I wanted to represent me in this matter. The same day that I hired him, Tim filed the proper legal papers. This would have frozen the property from any activity in regard to selling it until probate was complete, months or perhaps even years later. This would have incurred significant expense to the estate in regard to paying property taxes, association fees, maintenance and utility bills while the property remained in limbo. The property escaped probate and was legally transferred into my name. I will be putting this home up for sale in the near future and will hire Mr. Lucero to handle the closing.
