I cannot say enough good things about Attorney Louis Okun. My father died and I went to see his lawyer. I told him that family members had cleaned out my dads safe, took all of his cash and all his personal effects. He seemed unfazed and then told me not to worry about paying the outstanding mor...tgage. Now I know why he doesn’t allow any of his reviews to be posted here. Louis Okun came highly recommended but after the experience with my fathers lawyer I asked around. All I got were positive reviews and his clients consistently gave him 5 stars. I called his office and left a message. He promptly called me back and said that he needed to look over the whole situation. I told him I have to work during the week of which he said, no problem, and said he would set family time aside to meet with me. After listening to me for a minute, he said stop. We have many many issues here and we need to resolve them one at a time. He asked me to contact my fathers lawyer to have a copy of the will deposited. When I asked my fathers lawyer to do this, he said he didn’t have time and I could email him for any further information. Fast forward, Louis Okun handled the probate from start to finish. He recovered the missing assets and handled the additional creditors claims expediently. Whenever I called, he promptly returned my call and explained what was going on in detail. Throughout the litigation to recover the assets and preserve them for all of us he kept saying – “Your dads wishes that all of his children split equally.” When the dust settled, that was exactly what happened. I could not have asked for a better lawyer to see me thru this difficult time. If you are looking for a lawyer who does it right the first time, explains what is going on in plain english, will return your calls, and charges fairly this is your lawyer. Remember, if a lawyer will not post his client reviews here, run!
