After the stress of my accident and then being given a ticket inappropriately by the investigating trooper, David's knowledge of the law and his professionalism in court, brought relief and closure. In my opinion, I could not have found a more knowledgeable attorney, who understood the problems this ...ticket caused and the need to right it. He knows his laws, knew how to prepare for us to win in court, and executed my case. The end result was best stated from the judge..., "not -guilty". Haenel and Finebloom -- Haenel in particular, from what I observed in the courtroom -- seem to be good DUI attorneys. Ultimately, I found that it was worth $3500 to hire them. For a long time, though, they left me at the mercy of an assistant who was not fully experienced or competent. She did not of...fer clear communications or advice; she did not respond quickly to emails; she confused me with other clients; and at times it seemed that she knew little about DUI legal issues or Florida law. At the end, though, Haenel came through; but for several weeks I was very nervous and not too optimistic, even though I had a relatively strong case

A few months ago, I was involved in a traffic accident that landed me in jail. I was charged with a felony, and was facing the serious possibility of further jail time and suspension of my license. This came at a very bad time, as I was planning on returning to college out of state in the coming ne...w year. On the advice of a friend, I went to David Haenel's office for a consultation. I must say that I was impressed by his demeanor and knowledge of such cases, but as usual, with any person you have to place so much trust and responsibility with, I was skeptical. However, I can now safely say that David is the real deal, and certainly deserves this confidence and more. Within a month, I was moved from felony to misdemeanor court, after which David was able to negotiate a deal that was well below the standard. I served no further jail time and retained my driver's license. This outcome was far removed from my expectations, and I cannot thank him enough for pursuing this case on my behalf. Thanks to his hard work, I can continue pursuing my education this year, and without the stigma of having a felony on my record. In all, I cannot recommend David Haenel enough to do his service justice. At the very least, bring your case to his attention. I am near certain that you will find him as straightforward and knowledgeable as I have.

David could have easily "dumped" our case on a quick plea, but he made sure the court enforced the law and the rules and dismissed the case. Had he not paid attention to our case and the deadlines, we would have paid a fine unnecessarily. As a lawyer, I would hire David again and I give him my high...est rating.
