DO NOT USE THIS MAN! Horrible experience
I hired Mr. Raheb to defend myself in a DUI case. When I first went in to meet with him for a consult, he was on the phone screaming at another client. I should have realized then that this was not the lawyer for me. We sat down, had our consult and Mr. Raheb and his staff were very friendly that...
First of all the person who wrote this is not my client. The client is actually serving three years prison. That person had their 5th or 6th dui. Even though the state actually only knew of the one. The one with serious bodily injury to two innocent victims who nearly were killed. The blood alcohol level was a .332 taken at the hospital! That is four times the legal limit!!! People have actually died of alcohol poisoning with a smaller alcohol percentage in their bloodstream . He drove his vehicle right into their vehicle, occupied by multiple people who are injured. In total there were six victims of one DUI! Fortunately only two were seriously injured. Sadly it is cases like this that the state uses to justify their penalties on even simple DUI. Second, a one(1) year old and an adult were so seriously injured that they needed multiple surgeries. One of the victims had already been paralyzed previously by another drunk driver, and experienced her second DUI accident at the hands of a drunk driver. These are important facts that the writer of this review may have wanted to mention , if thet were not being hypocrites . A One-year-old may never walk straight again! The D.U.I ctually occurred in broad daylight . The person actually was facing ten ( 10) years prison!. The minimum sentence he was actually facing was nearly seven years in prison. You notice there is no name on this review,(lol), so it's probably a family member who's writing this from another state, where my client had picked up his other DUI's. If they in fact cared so much for him, and maybe while he was back in the state of Missouri, they should have asked him to at least enter him in a residential drug program after his third or fourth DUI?? Before he nearly killed two innocent people. I was able to convince the state after conducting a DMV hearing, to reduce the sentence from 7 years prison down to three years, and even DISMISSED one felony. I must have received well over 30 phone calls, at all times of the weekend(all clients get my cell), and was always available for the client. At least a dozen or more emails, 30 or more texts (from Missouri perhaps) from him and his family. The client in fact was told from the very beginning to sign up for a long term residential program, of at least 90 days or longer, but said he could only do 25 day as per his insurance!. The only fortunate thing in the entire case was that the people who were seriously injured, Thank God, had very good insurance. The victims who originally had demanded prison, agreed to a shorter prison sentence in part because they were able to receive some kind of recovery for their permanent injuries. So if perhaps the client is writing these posts from prison, he should be happy that two people are still alive and the state attorney ultimately never found out about the prior DUI's. Simply compare this one review with the 99% approval rate I have from all my other clients. And you'll know that some people, who are driving in the road with an alcohol level 4 times the legal limit, still feel they did nothing wrong! The family was more concerned with the contents of their own vehicle, then the actual injured victims. The 30 days was never agreed to by the state, so we said why not just ask the judge, after all she can always agree to it if she wants to. No one had expected the 30 days to actually count, given that the prison sentence was cut in half! Incidentally the fee that I charged for this particular case was also extremely reasonable and typically charged by most attorneys with 17 + years of experience for a simple Misdemeanor first time DUI. What this email also doesn't say is the fact that my client spoke to at least three other attorneys who also confirmed to him that the deal was very good considering the unfortunate terrible facts. I genuinely felt sorry for the tragic dat that he had experienced himself. You've got love the Show Me State and how appreciative they are.
