Dont Use He Will Take your Money, and do nothing but miss lead you.
I went to Darrin Mish and paid him to settle IRS problem. and I met with every Attorney and employee in his office. I sent my records over to them 3 times and every time they lost them. And I sent them by registered mail. Finally I had to hand deliver them to his office. To make a long story short he...
The first time I read your review I was disappointed. Not for the reason that you probably think. I was disappointed that you felt like your case didn’t matter or that it wasn’t handled appropriately. Poor business reviews are an opportunity for me to see where we fell short. They allow me to see what I may not have seen before and they allow me to set goals to improve in those areas of shortcomings. All businesses fall short sometimes. I wish that that wasn’t the case. I know that your case has been closed for at least three years. How do I know this? I know because I personally handle every matter and there have been NO instances as you describe during that time frame. Sometimes clients feel frustration (and perhaps rightfully so) when they are repeatedly asked for documentation. Sometimes this is because the client can’t get themselves current (meaning all past returns filed and estimated tax payments made) and then the case slides further and further down the line. It becomes unsolvable because the taxpayer actively is making the problem worse every day! When you aren’t having sufficient withholding or making appropriate estimated tax payments, NO professional can resolve an IRS problem. Another very common problem is that clients are asked to provide complete documentation but they only provide some of the documentation. This again, results in the delayed resolution of the case. In the past, I made a serious error. The error was that I was too forgiving of clients who didn’t fully cooperate. They would have excuses and any number of reasons why they couldn’t possibly do the reasonable things that I was asking them to do. But I’ve learned something fascinating over the years. The nicer I am to them (meaning the more time I give them to procrastinate) the longer the case ultimately takes to resolve. And even more fascinating is the fact that clients begin to blame ME for how long the matter has taken to be resolved. In order for me to truly help, I have to PUSH the case along, offer some tough but kind hearted love, and move the case to final resolution. That’s what we have been doing since January 2014. Lastly, I have been the ONLY attorney in the firm for almost two years now. During 2011 and 2012 we experienced tremendous growth that did cause some challenges in client communication. Those have been rectified for over two years now. I am genuinely happy to hear that you resolved your problems with the IRS. No one deserves to have that hang over their head. I’m very sorry that things didn’t work out between us. I will use this review to strive to not only meet but exceed future client’s expectations.

Completely disappointed in the lack of professionalism
We hired Darren to handle an IRS tax issue that became our problem when our father passed away. We paid for their services and while we thought our issue was being handled, we received a letter from the IRS that Darren T. Mish was no longer representing us. Not a word from him or his associates, we...
I am aware of this case. This gentleman was not the client. His sister was actually the client. The two of them did not communicate well with each other. The issue actually turned out very well but this gentleman wanted to call repeatedly and demand that we spend time explaining issues to him when he was not the client. He generally had a very poor attitude and was very demanding. As for the fact that I did not return his calls, my attitude was that he was not the client, his sister received a great result and that should have sufficed. I suppose in hindsight, I should have taken his call and his abuse. It's likely he still would have posted a negative review. He could not be satisfied no matter the outcome.
