Every time I spoke with the lawyer he did not know any of the details of the case. He would recite "facts" that had nothing to do with my case. When I questioned him, he would find that what he was saying was incorrect in each and every conversation. My case sat for months until it the four years wer...e nearly up then he was in a rush for a quick minimal settlement. If I did not ask about how my medical bills would be covered and if I had to reimburse my auto and medical insurance carrier, they would not have gotten a letter waiver. He said he made a note that I said I wanted to settle when it clear that I said he need to look more closely at my case. He said I had too many prior injuries to go to court. Then later in the conversation admitted that the two injuries he was talking about, were unrelated and the insurance company was not disputing the injuries. He then said that the insurance company was disputing at fault. But he never would contact the witness. When I asked him what amount did he submit the insurance company for settlement he began a different argument and changed the subject. I never got an answer. Now my case is set to expire in a few days and he is cornering me to accept a very low settlement. He says if I want more time I would have to go and file a letter with the court for an extension.
