The Lawyer

I believe it can be a very difficult process in choosing the right person to represent you. For me I would make the same choice over and over again. My entire experience with Jonathan Hackworth and his team has been excellent. His knowledge and understanding of my personal situation has been unsur...passed. But more importantly his ability to keep me involved and informed about what to expect and what direction we were going has been unmatched. Through all of that he remained focused on our end goal. I do not feel you could choose a better person to represent you than Jon Hackworth.

Makes you feel at ease

I don't have the complete background that most do on here with him, yet. I chose Avvo to begin searching for a divorce lawyer near Tampa. I've never needed a lawyer for anything (thank God), so I had no idea where to begin. I have done many consultations regarding my case- and he made me feel complet...ely at ease. His fees are reasonable. Even in a tight situation. I am looking forward to retaining him for my upcoming case/journey. If you're looking for a great lawyer, that truly makes your guard drop and feel confidence again- I must say this is your guy! I was Served my divorce paperwork yesterday. I was frantic. I didn't know where to begin. I do now, with Jonathan Hackworth. I intend to follow up with an outcome review once the divorce is finalized. As for now, I'm no longer uneasy- I feel empowered. Thank you Jon!

Great Honest Attorney

I was recommended to Jon by a friend. I was apprehensive about dealing with another attorney after 3 others had left me with no faith in the system or anything to do with the law. Jon took on my criminal case after another lawyer took my money and did nothing to help my situation. Jon assessed my pro...blem, figured out a course of action, explained the good and the bad points of the system to me, and then guided me through each step as we executed his plan. He came through with exactly what he told me should happen. This is one of the good guys. I highly recommend him for any legal situation that he can handle.

Helped a Father gain majority time sharing with Daughter

A few years ago today, my child's mother threatened to abandon state with our toddler. I filed the necessary paperwork in the courthouse pro se. Eventually, she did leave the state with child without my permission. I hired a local attorney who represented me during several meditations to reestablish ...my relationship with daughter. The mother eventually decided to not mediate further and my attorney was a bit sluggish to react. I decided to fire her and consult with other attorneys. Mr. Hackworth was 1 out of 4 local attorneys. Each attorney offered trial representation at an expensive rate. Some attorneys did not speak with me and requested consultation fees. Mr. Hackworth contacted me and offered pre-trial and trial representation at a very affordable rate. To be honest, the low rate caused skepticism and hesitation at first. After further online research, I could not find anything negative. I am glad I decided to hire attorney Hackworth. He is personable, he does not make you feel rushed, he conducts business using his own cell phone which is extraordinary and that is not all, Mr. Hackworth assisted me in winning majority custody of my daughter. As a father, most people doubted the possibility of this outcome for the last two years of my life. Attorney Hackworth made this possible. Do not hesitate to hire him, he is affordable, caring and very knowledgeable.

Prompt and Efficent Responce

I've recently had the opportunity of working with J. Hackworth on a case involving the visitation of my daughter. This process was emotionally difficult for me and his office made the "legalities" easier by providing prompt responses to my questions and always giving me multiple options when it came ...to the decisions. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has not had lots of experience with the legal system.
