Dawn, your review caught my eye because it has a great headline, albeit not one that anybody who knows me, particularly my clients or opponents, would use to describe me. Because the two conversations you described were not familiar to me, I researched this matter and determined that you spoke to another attorney at my firm, not me. Because the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar prohibit me from discussing specific attorney/client privileged communications between you and our firm, I can only generally state that it is my understanding that you had a disagreement with one of our lawyers over the legal issues and analysis for your case. We aim to be very straight shooters at this firm, evaluating the facts and giving our unvarnished legal opinion -- we understand that sometimes our clients do not like what we have to tell them about the built in damages limitations of the various statutes that provide employees legal protection, but we aim to have well informed clients. That is why we have published books on virtually every employment law topic, so that we can further our mission of educating the public about the strengths -- and limitations -- of the rights that the state and federal legislatures have created for them. Because we are always looking for ways to improve our firm, I would be more than happy to personally discuss this matter with you. Please feel free to call me on my direct line: (813)223-6413. Thanks, Matt Fenton.
