Thank God I hired this lawyer. From the minute he walked in the court room, he owned it and had everyone eating o...ut of his hands! I was told by my previous attorney that I'd probably have to do 3 years. John Weekes got everything thrown out because of a technicality! He amazing in the court room. While I must say that John is usually available and always answers the phone, I must say the positive aspect of working with him ends there. He charged me very high fees and I lost my case. My charges were not very serious and I had no prior record, it seemed when we went to court that he was unprepa...red and didn't try very hard to convince the judge of my innocence or ask for leniency. I have friends who have multiple arrests and have had their Attorneys charge them less and get them off, I wish I would have asked for a referral!!!

Been recommended to him was the biggest mistake ever. when i went to his office, he assured me he was going to solve the case for obvious reasons ( there was no proof against me). He charged me a high amount of money reassuring he was going to win the case. since it was necessary for him appear in co...urt multiple times , around the sixth time he asked me for double the amount of money he asked originally. He tried to get more money from me breaking our original agreement. Since I couldn't pay him more, he abandoned the case and sent someone else to represent him. He ruined my life because I was declared guilty and now I can't even find a job because of this. Therefore, if you happen to hear about John Weekes and need and attorney, look for someone else. This is not a serious and reliable person. I wouldn't recommend this attorney to nobody
