I've had to deal with a few different lawyers in Miami and David is by far the best. We hired David in a civil case where our opposition was being represented by one of the top ten civil attorneys in the area. The opposition attorney had not lost a civil case the entire year. Unfortunately, marketing... and "best of" lists are meaningless in the actual arena. The opposition's attorney had plenty of tricks behind the scenes, and the even the judge's refereeing seemed highly questionable at times. However, neither the questionable judge nor the opposition's attorney were any match for David in the open combat that is a jury trial. David wanted to be a trial attorney from a very young age. For David, the legal profession is not a career but his calling. An attorney that is not motivated by the love of the craft will simply not be able to compete on David's level. The only other thing I'd add is that make sure you view your relationship with David as a team effort. If you ask the right questions and assist him in gathering information that is pertinent to your case, he'll be able to focus on his high-level performance in court.
