Amazing lawyer!

I had a few other lawyers and was not super happy with how my family court case was going. I decided to go with DeVoe after my mother used him for her divorce. My case was more than complicated and Mr. Devoe handled it so well. He was very upfront and honest which was not something I’ve gotten from p...revious representation. I could tell that he worked very hard on my case. He was very thorough and diligent and because of that I believe is why he won my case. The judge seemed on the fence but Mr. DeVoe seemed to sway her in our favor with all of his outstanding work. I am more than thankful to Mr. Devoe for the way he handled my case and would highly recommend him.

Time sharing/visitation case

Very unsatisfied with the service paid for. Mr. Devoe did not show up to my hearing as he was in court with another case. When he did come, he was unprepared with no papers, documents, or laptop. This came off as very unprofessional and made it seem like my case did not matter. Feeling robbed of the ...money paid and got nothing in the end.

We both attended the temporary relief hearing. The goal was to obtain a court order for timesharing with your daughter while we wait for a trial date. At the hearing, you were unable to testify to more than 5 visits with your 11-year-old daughter in the past 5 - 7 years. You testified that you do not have a good relationship with the child’s mother. The child's mother objects to you having timesharing for reasons I will not summarize in this forum. Nonetheless, the judge granted our motion and awarded you a court order for increased contact with your daughter. I understand that you are frustrated that your increased contact begins with supervised timesharing. However, the judge wants to ensure that your re-integration into your daughter's life goes smoothly. This is expected to be the first step in a transition plan that will ultimately result in a material increase in your court-ordered timesharing if you are able to stay on track with the transition plan. I am sorry that you believe there is insufficient progress in your case. However, the goal of the temporary relief hearing was to get a court order for increased contact with your daughter and that goal was accomplished.

Fantastic attorney

Mr. Devoe was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. From the beginning he was upfront about price estimated time and what to expect. I feel that if I did not hire him my case would've had a different outcome. Thanks again Mike!
