I have never written a review for anyone before, but I feel compelled to write this one. When I walked into Attorney Bowen's office, I was fearful and had no hope there was anything she could do for me. She was not the typical lawyer I was expecting. I could tell by the way she approached my situ...ation, that she was genuinely concerned. There's a saying in my field of teaching - that kids can tell if you really care about them. I felt almost immediately that Attorney Bowen was real and did care about me. I'm not sure lawyers know this, but most people are not sure they can really trust a lawyer when they walk into their office. Interestingly enough, her assistant was the reason I chose Attorney Bowen over another lawyer. Her assistant was kind and I could hear empathy and concern in her voice when she corresponded with me. Attorney Bowen's knowledge of the law and her expertise in the area of bankruptcy was evident. She listened, devised a plan, explained how to proceed and how the court would view my situation. Her desire to help hurting people was also evident and that confirmation is what convinced me that I had chosen the right attorney. Not only could I tell she wanted to help lift the burden of financial ruin, but also wanted to help lift the burden of stress and heartache I was experiencing. As I left Attorney Bowen's office I knew that when I turned my financial hardship over to God, that he was walking beside me as he led me to a lawyer with a servant's heart.
