Amanda is a great attorney. We became more like family. Her staff is also very pleasant to work with. She has your best interest at heart. She tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. It is for your own good. I hired her as my divorce attorney. Out of all the attorneys I consulted w...ith she is the only one I believe strong enough to handle opposing counsel and my case. Unfortunately, with a former husband that was in and out of the marriage for the past 3 years took a huge toll on me and my health. Amanda helped me see what was clearly going on even though it was hard to see at times. My trust was shattered after being betrayed over and over again but Amanda helped pull me from darkness into the light. She is intelligent, kind hearted, knowledgeable and knows when to make the right move at the right time. She won my case. Even after final decree former husband and his flying monkey of a lawyer try to engage in unreasonable behavior and Amanda is right there helping me navigate and make the right moves. Overall, I am ever so grateful for her continued help and truly always wanting the best for me and my son.

The absolute best

Boy was I lucky the day I hired Ms. Jacobson , I had a criminal case facing a life sentence, but after hiring Ms. Jacobson I was granted a second chance at life she faught my case with so much passion and put her heart and soul into my case, she is truly one of a kind and nothing like other attorney...s who rob people blind I highly recommend Ms. Jacobson she is still to this day my attorney and always will be.

You definitely want Ananda on your side !

I hired Amanda to represent me in a divorce modification action. I am a teacher and I had been represented by another established attorney in Central Florida, but never had real movement on the case. Once Amanda took over, however, things changed in the courtroom and out. I started seeing work I had ...expected all along, and she got the evidence from my husband that no one had previously requested. Once we got into the courtroom, I was happy to see Amanda take control of the arguments, and ultimately prevail. I wish I didn’t have to go to court, but I ended up with everything I wanted, and I know it was because of Amanda in the courtroom. She and her assistant were so helpful and caring, I got calls from Amanda after hours and on the weekends. They are a great team and I recommend them if you need a divorce!

Amanda is a Lifesaver

Amanda Jacobson is a great woman and fantastic lawyer. I met her last year for the first time when seeking to hire someone to represent me in my divorce. Thinking back to a year ago - it was very confusing trying to sort out available options, not having any experience in family law and divorce.... Do I get a specialist, go the collaborative route, hire an expensive attorney in a downtown high-rise? How to know you're making the right choice? There are so many options. How do you know what you need? This website helps narrow it down, thankfully, but you still have a lot to filter out for yourself. The answer on who to hire became very simple for me after my first meeting with Amanda: she came across passionate, dedicated, knowledgable, and committed to addressing my specific situation and let me know it was very common and straight forward to get through. She had a wealth of experience to draw from and was able to articulate what to expect every step of the way. It went a long way to helping me come to terms with the legal system, process, and how this would work. What mediation would mean, what going to court would mean, what either approach would ultimately cost financially (and in other ways). Her consultation gave me a great deal of confidence she was the right fit and person for my case. Her guidance and direction also helped me establish the most cost effective approach for what could have been a potentially stupid ridiculous expensive situation that went on for years. She clearly cared deeply about doing what was best by her client and trying to keep them whole. During the mediation I found Amanda was patient and kind when we needed to slow down and process to help me understand certain topics. Her advocacy and passionate representation of my needs were demonstrated countless times through a challenging mediation process. It is a very difficult thing to go through, but she was always very measured, composed, focused, and knew when and what to fight for, and when to compromise for a solution we could make work. I managed to survive the experience without feeling the need to capitulate. She also has a remarkable bench of experts to pull from when needed. I had some unique tax and compensation issues to analyze and work through, and I found that her expert resources were the absolute best to work with - very impressive in terms of their experience and credentials. In fact, I fully intend to use them for tax and financial planning in the future. Finally, her office and staff were all very professional and friendly. Anytime I needed assistance with scheduling, rescheduling, or working with her awesome paralegal Michelle on paperwork and court documents - they were very reliable and always there for me. The process started in April and concluded before the end of the year. I owe her a great deal of gratitude for her role in helping me get through the most difficult experience ever. I honestly believe hiring Amanda was the best decision I could have made, especially after talking to others about what happened to them when they went through the same thing. Once you start a divorce you may be surprised about how many people share the experience with you, or come to you seeking advice on what to expect.

Best Divorce Attorney & Paralegal Team

Divorce is one of the most devastating times in anyone's life especially when children are involved. After having two attorneys fail me and make a mess out of my already complicated and acrimonious divorce, Amanda Jacobson stepped in and has been nothing short of outstanding in getting my case back ...on track! Not only is she professional and brilliant, but she actually cares about her clients and the children involved. She’s given me a lot of encouragement and strength throughout my divorce and is fighting for what is in my child’s best interest. She will always give you honesty so my advice to anyone who retains her is to take her legal advice. I’ve had a chance to see her in court as well. The judges and other attorneys respect her.
