She Gets the Job Done!

Had a very messy divorce 6 years ago without any representation and ended up with an unfair parenting plan. Three years later, after finally graduating with my degree, I found and was able to hire Mrs. Jacobson. She fixed everything wrong with the parenting plan and made sure I was awarded with a fai...r child support. She was extremely professional and very easy to talk to through the whole process. She got the job done!

Happily Divorced

I found Amanda through a referral from a friend. I had been wanting and needing to divorce my narcissistic, verbally abusive husband for several years but hadn't found an attorney I felt comfortable with. I started the process with an attorney I didn't feel suited my case so I had trouble wanting to ...move forward for fear of the outcome. Amanda came recommended as tough when needed, strategic, and highly respected. I'm so glad I retained her because she was all that and more. She pushed my case along even when my then-husband refused to respond or cooperate. She told me what was possible and what was unrealistic, setting proper expectations. She had a very good grasp on what to expect from any specific judge since she has been in court with most, if not all of them before. She didn't do any unreasonable work, or engage in what I thought was questionable charging like my previous attorney had. She strategized and conferenced with me, answered questions as many times as I needed, and I found that over time, my anxieties disappeared and my confidence returned. In the end, I got an amazing settlement that I am beyond happy with and a solid parenting plan. I credit her strong demeanor, ability to keep conversations on point in the courtroom, and her knowledge on when to apply pressure and how. Thank you Amanda!

Lucky to have Found Ms. Jacobson

Divorce is a difficult a horrific transitional time for anyone. Amanda Jacobson stepped in when I needed her and has been amazing in getting me to where I needed to be. She is professional, brilliant, and moreover she really cares about her clients. She has been a pillar of strength for me with soun...d, and more importantly honest, advice around every corner. She provided me her cell phone number, gave plenty of time for each of our meetings, and I was able to email her with questions and concerns. Whenever I could not reach Ms. Jacobson, her paralegal was always available to assist me with my concerns, leaving me feeling confident at each step. While being represented in court, the judges and other attorneys appear to have respect her, which I think is really important for maying the proceedings go as smoothly as possible. I cannot reiterate enough how grateful I was to find Ms. Jacobson in this process. She made the an incredibly difficult time that much easier, while creating a resolution that I was very happy with. Amanda R Jacobson is not only the best Lawyer but also a wonderful human bein. when my world collapse because a terrible divorce she guided me legally, financial and emotionally...
