An Attorney Invested in Her Clients

Amanda met me during one of the most tumultuous times I have ever faced. She was professional, honest and kind. She fought for me when I wasn't able to fight for myself. She was gentle when she needed to be, and straight forward and tough when she needed to be. She respected the decisions I made ...regarding my case, even if she didn't agree with them. With that said - even though a conclusion was reached - I should have heeded her recommendations. She is smart, talented, and it is obvious she has a passion for helping people through difficult legal situations. And if all that isn't enough - her paralegal, Michelle is just as amazing. I would not hesitate in recommending Amanda to my friends and family.

Amazing to work with and highly recommend

I wish I had found Amanda from the beginning of my divorce case. My case was at a standstill and she took on and got the case back on track. She was very thorough with the case review and listened to what was most important to me in the case. She is honest, knowledgeable and an excellent litigator. ...She took the time to explain what was best for me and my situation. She is both aggressive and compassionate. Not only she helped me with the legal matter but also support me through the difficult process. Amanda was a life saver. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Straigh Foward, Honest and Knowledgeable

Divorce is probably one of the most difficult times in a personal life as your world is turned upside down in a matter of minutes. The process of divorce is a complex issue, specially of you have kids, property, retirement accounts, ect. However, Amanda was a life saver as her approach to your case... is straight forward and down to the real facts. Amanda will not tell you “what you want to hear,” but instead she will tell you the facts and how it will affect your case. She is super knowledgeable and has tons of experience both in and out of the courtroom. Amanda took my case and gave me the best possible scenarios and suggested we should settle my case in mediation. During mediation, Amanda fought for my best financial interest and for me the proper time with my son. Amanda is not intimidated by the process or anyone whom might oppose her. At the end of mediation I left with a fair plan and one that I can live with for some time. If you are looking for an experienced attorney that will take you case seriously, not feed you “fluff” and represent you for your best interest, then the answer is simple, Attorney Amanda Jacobson is the attorney for you.

Amanda helped my mom fulfill her dying wishes

Amanda helped my mother through a bitter divorce, while she was battling cancer. My father mentally abused my mother for many years, and when she was diagnosed with cancer for the second time, he became even more abusive. Amanda helped my mother get a no-contact order, and helped her through the divo...rce process. I could tell that Amanda really cared about my mom's wellbeing. My father had always shielded my mom from dealing with bills or finances by telling her she was "too stupid" to understand anything. Amanda did a lot to lift my mom's confidence in herself and her ability to take care of things my father always said she couldn't. She was so incredibly patient with my mom and with the constant harassment from my father My father was very unreasonable with his demands in the divorce. He refused to accept the basic premise of Florida law that all assets are generally split 50/50 in a divorce. He was relentless in his attempts to file appeal after appeal, to try and delay the divorce. The stress of the divorce really took a toll on my mother’s health, but she kept at it because her dying wish was to make sure that my brother and I received half of what she and my father earned as a couple. When it came to the point that it appeared father’s strategy was to delay the divorce as long as possible to ensure that she died first. When Amanda recognized that this may be my father's goal, she stepped up the pressure by filing for us to go to court. With the threat of a court hearing looming, Amanda got my father to come to the table on a settlement that was better than equitable for my mother. Amanda finally got a final judgement in late August this year. Unfortunately, my mother passed less than a month later. I think that she was really just holding out to make sure that her dying wishes were fulfilled, and Amanda made that happen for her. I wish more than anything that my mother was still here to write this review herself, but I know that she would want me to recommend her to anyone that needs help with a divorce. This was an EXTREMELY hard difficult, time consuming case and Amanda stuck with my mom till the end and beyond. Even now, she is helping us find probate services and helping us get through the aftermath. She has, and continues to be a valued asset to our family, and I highly recommend her.

Amanda Jacobson is Great

Let me start of by saying Amanda and her staff are the kindest and caring people you will find. They have walked me through my divorce step by step since i knew nothing about it. Any questions i may of had her staff was there to answer them for me almost right away. I would definitely recommend anyon...e going through a divorce to her. I know as for me i was divorced in no time and she will fight for you a 100%. I could not of been any happier for the outcome and Amanda and her staff will always hold a spot in my heart.
