JASON SAVED MY LIFE!!

As a result of his hard work and diligence I was found not guilty, unanimously, of DUI and guilty of speeding. The jury took less than 1 hour to deliberate before reaching a verdict. Jason is not only a phenomenally skilled DUI attorney but he is a compassionate human being, an interesting character ...and a lifelong friend. Although I compensated Jason for his services there is absolutely nothing I could give him for saving my life! I would avidly endorse Jason Cerbone that is, if you want the best possible representation. Jason is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, responsive and pleasantly unique. I was faced with a 2nd DUI within 10 years and a speeding violation. I work in a career that requires me to rent vehicles on business trips and I was very concerned about retaining my job and means of supporting my family. Jason ensured that at no point was my driving privileges revoked and I was always able to secure rental vehicles. Jason also started preparing for my case weeks after I was arrested for DUI. He hired an expert to investigate and survey the incident location, retained a professional witness several months before I was scheduled to go to trial, prepped me for trial in the event I would need to testify and maintained an avenue of communication with me regarding updates to my case. Moreover, Jason treated every hearing and motion as if he were in trial and obtained transcripts from each interaction with the state and their witness. It took the state over two years to get my trial date scheduled and Jason always applied pressure in an attempt to get the case placed on the docket. Once we secured a date Jason was ready well in advance of the case. In court he, using the transcripts, constantly pointed out inaccuracies in the states argument and at times caused the state stumble and change their argument. Additionally, he was very calculating as to the right time to introduce evidence, what information was necessary to disclose, what information to omit, when to object and when to allow the prosecutors to continue with an argument. He is, in my opinion, the best DUI attorney in Savannah if not the state of Georgia.

A Good Lawyer

If you are charged with DUI and think there may be extenuating circumstances I would definitely consult with Jason Cerbone and for sure if this is a second or more DUI. Jason was very comfortable in the court room as well as responsive to my calls and questions about court proceeding's. If I could ...make any suggestions to Jason it would be to become knowledgeable about what to expect should you be found or accept a guilty plea. If a lawyer is going to specialize in DUI's he/she should be able to advise the client what to expect after the job in the courtroom is done, ie. fines, court costs, probation, the various classes that must be attended, the costs associated with each, in short, all that comes with being convicted of DUI.

Jason Cerbone Had My Second DUI Dismissed

After a long process, I eventually had a jury trial which resulted in all charges being dismissed. Without Jason's expertise, passion of helping his clients, and doing everything possible above and beyond; I would be in jail as we speak. If you looking for a DUI lawyer.. look no further! After countl...ess hours of looking for representation to defend my case, I came across Mr. Cerbone. Upon first meeting with him, I decided to retain because of his professionalism, knowledge, and the advanced level of education that he has in DUI defense. Jason is hands down the best DUI defense in Savannah.

My charge of DUI less safe was reduced to failure to exercise due care.

My charge of DUI less safe was reduced to failure to exercise due care. I am very happy for the end result. But, this should not have happened. After driving ¾ of a mile (with turns), I was pulled over. The officer said I failed to maintain my lane and crossed the center line. I did not cross the... center line. Along with this, the fast-paced nature of the stop had me in the back of his patrol car within 9 minutes. My rights were not read to me. Numerous mistakes were made on the paperwork. This just felt wrong. After the arrest, I immediately looked for an attorney because Georgia’s laws are out of control. You have two separate hearings that could have led to my license being suspended. How is it legal that you could be punished in two different courts for the same thing? How can an individual potentially lose their license prior to being found guilty? This is when I immediately got legal assistance and I spoke to Jason Cerbone. He filed paperwork for the dual hearings. After waiting months for the preliminary hearing, Mr. Cerbone spoke to the officer. The day before is when the officer worked with Mr. Cerbone to reduce the charges. The next day was when the charges were reduced to failure to exercise due care. I am grateful for the reduced charges and I am grateful that Mr. Cerbone spoke with this officer. But, no one should go through this. People look at cases like this as though an individual is automatically guilty. However, no one considers that some people who go through this are innocent.

Jason Cerbone had my second DUI plead and received no jail time.

Jasons expert witness found problems with the breath machine and the police officers investigation. We were ready for trial, and on the morning of the trial i decided to take plea because they offered no jail time. Up until then i was facing six months in jail. He was very prepared for trial and spen...t ample time with me to explain the process. Jason is not only a great guy but a great lawyer and would trust him again.
