Thumbs up to Bubba Head

After meeting a girl friend for drinks and dinner, I was on my way back home when I was pulled over for having a defective tai light. It was 11:45 PM. I did have some wine before and with dinner, and the officer said he smelled it on my breath when he came to my car window to advise me of the pro...blem with the light. He asked me to step out of the car to do field tests, which I did. I was a bit nervous, being a single female at the location along a quiet residential street. About 5 minutes later, despite doing extremely well on the roadside tests, I was cuffed and arrested. I was in shock! Soon, my car was being searched and later towed away as I watched from the back seat of a police car. When I got out of jail the next day on bond, I asked my younger brother who he had used on a DUI second offense case in Roswell about 6 years earlier. He was only 20 years old at the time of that arrest, which was his second. He told me “Bubba Head”. He also told me that Mr. Head had won his case at trial on the issue of legitimacy of the pullover. He also told me that he wished he had known about Mr. Head on his first offense, when another lawyer convinced him that he had no chance to win that case. I went to his office and he took an extensive amount of time getting information about the arrest, how much I had to drink, and asking me questions about how this case could affect my employment (pharmaceutical sales). I was comfortable that I was not just another “number” at his office. Once the video was obtained by Mr. Head, my report of doing fairly well on field tests proved to be true. Also, my voice was clear, and speech was normal on the audio portion. Mr. Head obtained a reduction of charges. The DUI was dropped. I did some community service hours, took a risk reducing course and paid a fine. By doing it all in advance, I did not even get any probation! Mr. Head did everything I had asked of him, and more. His office was great at staying in touch with me and arranging appointments by phone or in person. Two thumbs up for the best lawyer in Georgia. Ashley

Mr. Head Saved My Case

At age 43, I faced drunk driving charges in Dekalb County that stunned me. I had taken Ambien for the first time (while sitting in my bed at 11:30 PM) and later started driving without knowing it! I had no intention of going anywhere at 1 AM. Because I had an odor of alcohol on my breath (from... two drinks I had at home between 8:30 PM and 10 PM, the officer arrested me of alcohol-DUI. The officer arrested me, based on me driving on a flat tire and going about 10 miles per hour along the roadway near my neighborhood. Mr. Head immediately knew how to handle the case. He was able to save my driver’s license and I did not get a DUI on my record. Later, I saw several national news stories about the risks of “sleep driving” when taking Ambien. Mr. Head was featured on one of the stories! All I know is that he never backed away from my nearly impossible case. I am thankful I found him. J. M.

Thank you William

My father (who is a judge in Georgia) referred me to Mr. Head. I was in my last semester at Georgia Southern. Considering my video and alcohol level, I thought I had no chance walking out of that case without a conviction for driving while intoxicated. I was wrong. Mr. Head was able to suppress ...the breath test based on some violation of my legal rights. I was able to plead guilty to “reckless”. That allowed me to keep my driver’s license, finish college and get a good job in South Carolina 4 months later. I am sold on Mr. Head’s skill at winning tough cases, and so is my Dad. C. B.

Special Thanks from David

I was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia while in my parked SUV in a bank parking lot while passed out behind the wheel. My alcohol level was over 0.25%. My attorney from Douglas County (who specializes in real estate) referred me to Mr. Head. I was going through a painful separation, and was in a b...ad state of mind at the time. I already had a prior DUI, so I was petrified of going to jail on this case. I quickly learned that the vehicle need not be “running” for me to be charged with DUI, if police can put together evidence of when I drove earlier, and whether I had alcohol before the driving ended. Mr. Head obtained a reduction of this case for me at the point of trial. The prosecutor realized that the officer had not gathered certain needed information from me about whether I had consumed alcohol AFTER I drove into that parking lot and parked. Since several bars and restaurants were located nearby, and it was late afternoon on a Friday, that was a possibility. I learned my lesson, but also learned to look for the best drunken driving lawyer when facing a difficult case. I wish I had known about Bubba on my first case. David O.

Bubba Head gets results

I was working in new car sales for an Atlanta-based Range Rover dealer when I was arrested for a 2;30 AM DUI in Atlanta. I knew not to take field evaluations, but was still arrested. I refused the breath test, too. Needless to say, I did not need a D.U.I. on my record, much less could I afford... to have my license suspended for refusing to be tested. Working with Betty Brooks, his investigator, Mr. Head obtained the trooper’s agreement to a reduction to “lane violation” for me. My excellent job was saved, and (when I later moved to California), I was able to get my CA license with no problem. Results are what I needed, and Bubba Head gets results. THB
