Great Attorney

Gary was highly recommended by my friend Bill Hagg. Gary was very responsive and pushed me to be prompt with my part of the divorce. He did not overcharge for the many short and simple conversations (by the minute) and was very proactive throughout the process. I am happy with the results of my d...ivorce and high recommend this attorney!

Competent. Smart. Reassuring. Call him!

I chose Gary to handle my divorce; the opposing lawyer represented the Petitioner, Gary represented me as the Respondent. I hired Gary because he impressed me as being unusually knowledgeable about the process details--not just the big picture--and more important, he is calm. As a former family court... judge and now an mediator and family law attorney, I was confident he'd already experienced whatever my case would bring. I was right as he knew what to watch out for and recognized immediately what was missing from the opposing lawyer's documents. Between July and September, and prior to hiring Gary, I'd reviewed four different iterations of opposing counsel's error-filled documents. Given the dozens of repeated grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, not to mention content errors referencing property not owned, proposed visitation schedules for 2014, and directions for filing 2016 tax returns (even though it was 2018!), I was very worried about what legal issues opposing counsel had wrong as well. Gary thoroughly reviewed the 5th version of drafts and immediately noticed opposing counsel's failure to draft the required Child Support Addendum; the incorrect format for the Settlement Agreement, multiple unnecessary details in the Parenting Plan; and the Plaintiff's improperly completed Child Support Worksheets. Gary patientily explained each step of the process so I'd know what to expect and sadly had to similarly "instruct", or perhaps remind, opposing counsel as well. Gary caught a critical error in the opposing counsel's Request for Judgement on Pleadings that contradicted all the documents already filed and would've delayed the ruling. Gary's experience and intellect was exactly what I needed to safeguard myself from the opposing counsel's continuous inattention to detail and seemingly willingness to file false documents as demonstrated by his failure to correct errors from version to version. This was an uncontested divorce (no court time) so while I cannot speak to Gary's courtroom abilities, I'm certain based on the time and thoroughness he did provide, he would have delivered exactly what was needed during a hearing. I've already asked Gary if I may refer him if asked and am very grateful to the person who referred me to him!

One in a million

Where do I begin? I can't say anything but wonderful things about Gary. I went in to see Gary for a consultation when I was going through a divorce with my spouse. I was very impressed by him from the very beginning. Gary is very knowledgeable of the law. He doesn't push you into doing anything that ...you don't want to do, but he gives you options. Most Attorneys are very busy and so was Gary, but that never stopped him from returning a phone call or an email in a very timely fashion. He is very honest with you and genuinely cares about doing the right thing. I would most definitely recommend hiring Gary to assist you in your legal affairs. My kids and I couldn't have gotten through this without Gary.

An Asset to his Profession

After being divorced for several years, I was faced with having to go before the court to defend myself in a contempt claim from my former husband. Gary was recommended to me from a friend and I found that he was client-focused and a great communicator. He was able to analyze the case from both sides... and develop a defense that was based on case law, which he is well versed in. He took a proactive approach to moving the case along , so that I could have the best outcome. His perseverance led to favorable outcome for me. He was always available to answer my questions at any time of the day (or night) and he knew what was important to me. He always gave me more; more listening, more understanding, more than what I was entitled to have. He dedicated himself to ensure that my interest and individual needs were represented. He delivered on his word each and every time. He is a man that is fair, reasonable and honorable. In a room full of lawyers, I will always choose him.
