As a leader, I was taught three important things: the importance of truth, justice, and commitment. Being Falsely and Maliciously accused; with the potential of catastrophic consequences to my testimony, character, life and career in the Army. Facing this Goliath, who physically assaulted me, deliber...ately-falsely accused me; while utilizing their influence to the erosion of due process. I hired Rob, with goals of conducting an independent investigation on the false allegations submitted by my HHC commander. For Rob, to properly and effectively present the evidence and facts to refute the false and malicious accusations made against me. Which Rob did, eloquently.

From the first phone call with Mr. Capovilla I knew I was in competent hands. When my husband was falsely accused of sexual assault by 2 of his colleague’s spouses at a party, it quickly became the worst time of our lives. His closing argument was the best thing I’ve seen in life; the board members only convened for roughly 10 minutes before delivering a not guilty verdict. I highly recommend Rob Capovilla to anyone facing a court martial, separation board or any type of situation that brings you into a courtroom because that is where this man truly shines. I am in the United States Air Force, Active Duty. I have served for almost 19 years now. I was falsely accused of inappropriate sexual contact by two women at an event. My Squadron commander offered me NJP under article 120 of the UCMJ and ultimately sent me to a separations board, despite the fact t...here was no evidence, and only the word of two accusers who were close friends. In the current climate, that’s all he needed. I immediately researched legal counsel and was referred to Mr. Capovilla, lucky for me!! He represented me throughout the NJP, Separations Board, and after actions. When my “Day in Court” came, I could not believe how good this man is. He was born to be in the court room. Months of research and interviews all paid off. I was retained in the USAF and found NOT to have committed any of the accused crimes! My opinion is that in the current sexual assault climate, even an innocent man such as me could have very well been hung out to dry, just because it was easier than finding the truth. I hired Rob and his assistant Mickey to represent me on a positive UA for THC that I was given from a 100% unit UA. I knew I had not used THC during block leave and hired both of them to represent me in my case as I was not only facing a trial by Court Martial, but a seperation board as well. Rob and... Mickey were very thorough through the whole process and guiding me on what was gonna happen. After, fighting through the Court Martial the goverment decided not to go through with it and instead go to the seperation board. At the seperation board Mickey was very direct and defended my innocence digestion and completely destroyed the government's case against me. After 15 mins of hearing all the evidence and testimony the board decided to retain me in the United States Army. Both Rob and Mickey were outstanding in the knowledge of the military justice system and defended me with ease.
