My out of state lawyer

Because my case is in Atlanta but I live in Virginia, I retained an Atlanta lawyer, Gary Martin Hays & Assoc. Even though I do not live in Atlanta the communication has been excellent thus far. My case manager Isabel A Ruiz, has been very helpful and thorough with the details of my case, continually... checking on my health and well being. My case attorney Will Cheves, explained to me in detail my rights concerning this personal injury accident. I have been very pleased with my representation from all at the law firm and I much appreciate all their help and guidence during this difficult time. I recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a situation that requires legal assistance.

Who Could Ever Ask for MORE!!

I am Still working with this Firm and never ever have to worry about anything regarding my case. I am constantly updated. I am always getting calls to see "How I am Doing" Physically, emotionally and to check on my and my families wellbeing...

Review of GMH and Associates

As someone who used the services of Gary Martin Hays and Associates I was more then satisfied with the quality of service, an the service in general of the law firm. They assisted me in one of the worst times of my life after I was injured in a automobile accident through no fault of my own. The peop...le at GMH and Associates treated me as family, and not just a case number. They did everything in their power to assist me during this time, answered all of my questions, and talked to me as a person. That goes a long way in taking the edge off the stress that comes with any a case such as this which is also something someone in m position had to deal with on a daily basis. That says a lot to me about their character, and their compassion.

Suprised

My lawyer handled everything. He arranged all the medical examinations and therapy for me and also negotiated payments on my expenses. Although I was pleasantly surprised with the final results of the case, I wish I had a little more interaction with him.

The worst experience

I hired Gary Martin hays for my auto accident I was hit by a tow truck. They sent someone out to my house to look at the damages on my car. They gave me a place to get treatment at for my back. Then when it came to the claim Gary Martin hays took 33% before my medical bills were paid which left me wi...th nothing. I could of done that by myself. I had a lot of trouble with talking to the people working on my case. I lost my job because of the amount of time I had to take of to see the doctor. At the end of everything they next helped me but helped there self. Never again will I trust Gary Martin hays.

Michael: We are sorry that you are not satisfied. Let me address some points in your review. We did assist you with getting the minor bumper damage repaired on your car at NO charge to you. We also helped you get medical treatment with a doctor that would not require co-pays or payment as you treated. We completely disagree with your assertion that you had "trouble" talking to people at my firm. My attorneys and staff were very responsive to you. Throughout your case, there were 30 phone calls to and from you, 17 phone calls to and from others, including the insurance companies and doctors. 14 emails sent and/or received, and 35 letters sent and received. The fact that you lost your job is something completely outside our control as Georgia is an "employment at will" state. However, we did tell you and every client - as best you can, try not to miss work if you can help it. We don't want matters to get even worse by losing your job. We are in the process of negotiating bills on your claim to make sure we get as much money to you as possible. Our fee is 1/3 of the gross settlement. This is the standard rate charged by most firms that specialize in personal injury. Two things to note: (1) some firms charge 40% to 45%. Ours is only 1/3. (2) I disagree completely with your statement "I could of done that by myself." You NEVER would have recovered the settlement we did for you. Also, you would have encountered problems getting treatment without having to pay co-pays or bills as you incurred them. Finally, YOU decided to settle the claim for the insurance company's offer rather than filing suit in an effort to recover more money. You were counseled every step of the way, and you made the decision to settle. I am more than happy to discuss your claim with you - as I am with every client. I'm just at a loss as to why you made the assertions you made without justification - and BEFORE all negotiations have happened on your claim. There is NO basis for you to say you received "nothing." We pride ourselves on our client service and will continue to work with you on this matter.
