I hired Mrs. Merchant for a DUI case and from day 1 I felt more than confident with my choice. Even though she's a Florida Gator and I was a gator hater, she had me doing the chomp today. NOT Guilty was the verdict she got me. The state had plenty of evidence so it wasn't just a closed book case. ...She was in contact with me from day 1 and not some office staff or paralegal and I did not have to bug her to find out what was going on. This woman knows her stuff and the entire court room knows it. Top it off with a little hyperness. She did her homework and was beyond prepared for any angle they took. I've hired other lawyers in the past and I don't think I'm the only one who will say you rarely feel like they cared at all enough to open a book once. You not once will feel like you wasted a dime of your money. She did a lot of work for a misdemeanor case and we took it all the way to trial. I could go on and on but I will try and sum it up. You want her in your corner no matter what your charges are. I promise you she will be the most prepared person in the court room. Oh and did I mention she's pretty freaking hot. Sorry Avvo. I thought I was spending the next 24 hrs in jail and the next year on probation. There is no better feeling than the one I have right now on my drive home with my valid drivers license.
