I’m incredibly grateful for Lawrence and the support he gave me throughout my case. He always believed in me, stood by me when things did not feel fair in court, and fought for the best possible outcome. Lawrence was hired by my family while I was sitting in Jail in Detroit after being pulled off of an airplane by 3 Detroit Police officers ad 3 customs agents. I was arrested because my wife had claimed that I had raped her and despite the absurdity of the claim the State took it very seriously and is...sued a warrant for my arrest. I spent 17 days in a Detroit jail over Thanksgiving. At that point I already had and attorney that offered me nothing but excuses. Lawrence took the bull by the horns, got me back to Atlanta and was able to get a me a consent bond and had me out on bail 4 days after arriving to Atlanta. As a result of his tenacity I was able to keep my job despite the predicament I was in. Unlike the other 4 lawyers I have dealt with Lawrence would respond to my correspondence usually the same day and if he couldn't he would at lest acknowledge that he received my call or email. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT SPENDING DECADES IN JAIL FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T DO. The District Attorney dragged their feet for 9 months and the whole time Lawrence was on them to drop the ridiculous charges and finally they did. This was no accident. Lawrence works with an excellent private investigator, JT, who has many years experience as a detective. They put together all of the evidence that was presented to the prosecution to show them that there was no case. He was even able to go directly to the Judge and get my bond modified to allow me to take my 2.5 year old son to the beach. Lawrence, thank you so much. I can now move on with my life and can fight to get custody of my son from the woman that caused all of this. My family and I are forever grateful. Even though he had a heavy workload, Lawrence took on a weak contempt case against my ex wife. This was a "Hail Mary Pass" to get more visitation of my 7 year old daughter. It would be impossible to describe how he did it, but here's the short version. In October 2007 my ex and I split. When she left... is ripped my whole world apart and took my baby girl with her. 3 years, 10 months and at least 5 previous attorney's, Lawrence pull out my first real victory and got me 50/50 visitation and no child support.
