I first hired Lawrence Zimmerman when I was referred to him by another lawyer who was  busy in a trial. Boy, am I glad I got him. First of all, I was on probation for something I did ten years ago when I was a much different person. I made some bad decisions in life, but over the past 7 years, I was ...able to start working, stay sober and focus on positive things. Unfortunately, I failed to show up for felony probation in Cobb County. So, for many years, I have been hiding, worrying, not driving because I knew I would be arrested and thrown in jail.  Before Mr. Zimmerman, I had another lawyer who promised me the moon, and he supposedly was a good lawyer. Let me tell you, he was not a good lawyer; Mr. Zimmerman is a great lawyer. He didn't promise me anything but hard work I met with him after firing my other lawyer, and he came up with a strong game plan. It took several months until we were able to be successful, but he met with the DA and was able to get them to agree to allow me to walk into the courtroom, not be arrested for being a fugitive and close my case. No more probation! I can't tell you how grateful I am to him. I have my life back! I can move forward. He and his staff are awesome. He is a top notch lawyer in Georgia. 

I was falsely accused of sexual assault/rape but felt I needed immediate legal representation. I reached out to Lawrence via email (thru website) and he contacted me back within the hour and stated he could speak to me at 9pm at night! I accepted! Although he had to make an out of town business tr...ip he put together an immediate strategy and specific action plan that we would follow together over the next 5-7 days. This plan included doing interviews with his personal investigator (JT), pictures, references, etc. JT is a first-class addition to Lawrence's team and proved to be extremely valuable through the process. Lawrence and JT developed a very thorough package that was presented to the detectives. The plan and 'client package' that Lawrence laid out for me was executed flawlessly and at the end of the day was ultimately the reason why my case was officially closed by the detectives. I am a summer camp counselor and a child bit me and at first she said she bit me because she lost the game. Then the camp got a call from her mother saying that I touched her inappropriately. I had a meeting with DFCS and I didn't hear any news of the case until a month later until two detectives s...howed up at my front door asking for my side of the story. My family and I decided to get a lawyer before talking to the detectives. Thats when we had a meeting with Lawrence Zimmerman and JT Summers. I told them my story and they both believed me immediately. When the meeting was over I knew I was in great hands. JT was the investigator and he got all of the details from everyone and he was excellent. Lawrence decided I should take a Polygraph test just in case. I took the Polygraph test and I passed. Lawrence talked to the detectives to find out if they are arresting me or just want to talk. He decided that we should have the meeting with the police. The day before the meeting JT and Lawrence asked me questions just how the detectives would so I am prepared. I had a meeting with the detective and Lawrence was in the room next to me. She just asked me questions about if I was ever alone with her and just wanted to here my side of the story. I found out that day that the case was dropped and I was innocent and the detective said all of the stories lined up. This false accusation that this child made could have ruined my life. I loved working with kids. Now I will never work with kids again. Lawrence is outstanding. He cared and believed that I was innocent. Getting Lawrence was the best decision my family and I made. Thank you again Lawrence for everything.

Lawrence worked very well with the DA, doctors, counselors, and myself to find a resolution that would actually improve my life in the long haul ! Though he is busy, he ALWAYS would help me with whatever was going on and even called me late at night on several occasions when I felt it was necessary ...(many times it was just my fear reaching out). His office staff was great and other professionals he recommended were top notch, too. My re-united family and I both feel so lucky that my wife was able to find Lawrence in a dark time for us. Although I hope to never have to use him again, Lawrence will always be on my speed dial.
