First of all, I fired my first lawyer for his lack of effort on my case. I then met with and interviewed a half dozen other attorneys before choosing David West. He and his team helped me obtain a reduced misdemeanor charge with no jail time for what had been a very serious felony charge. He and his ...team were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I also feel like I was treated with dignity and understanding. I am very appreciative for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of criminal defense.

When people mention the word "Lawyer", it, unfortunately, conjures up preconceived, stereotypical preceptions for most. Mr. David West will alleviate any presumptive notions you may have, the moment you shake his hand. I was charged with felony obstruction. I was very nervous at the beginning of ...my consultation. I quickly became very comfortable speaking with Mr. West. His explainations to my questions were informative and easy to understand. He told me not to worry, that he would take care of everything. Wow, I didn't realize he would literally " take care of everything". He, and his staff, were with me every step of the process. His office manager / assistant, Beth, is incredible. Mr. West was simply the best. I was facing serious jail time for a second dui and would have been without my license for a year had it not been for the hardwork he put into my case. He kept me pretty well informed on everything going on, given some of the more serious cases he also works on. And h...is staff always had answers for me when I called his office. He was really a great speaker in court and I could tell he was really fighting for me. He also seems to get alot of respect from the prosecutor and the judges as they appeared to listen to everything he had to say. I saw the review by the other person on here and really can't believe it. Mr. West went out of his way to say we had a tough hill to climb with my case and that he didn't know what would happen when we started but he really worked hard once he got started to make sure I got a great result. His hard work saved my job and my license and I had to come on here to make sure other people saw what he was capable of. We hired David West to represent a friend that was being held at Fayette County Jail. When I called David West he assured me that he could help and that he was familiar with the judges and the jails process. He did a great job lying to have us hire him as an attorney. During this whole process David ...West was MIA. He visited Aron once and never did anything for the 6 months we hired him because according to him he was waiting for a court date. There were a lot of motions that he could have filled but he decided to collect our money and took advantage of someone needing his help. He would always lied to us saying that it was the courts fault. He purposely delayed doing anything just to collect money because he knew we were in a desperate situation and needed a lawyer ASAP. During this time David did not communicate with Aron his client. He would not offer updates or even reassure Aron that he was still working on his case. David west went on vacation and missed an important court date without telling us. I had to call David’s office every time just so that I could get an update for Aron. Once, his paralegal answered the phone and said that David West was not here to hold hands. Exactly like that. David collected $2500 upfront and over 6 months he took $500 every month while ignoring his client and only making sure he was available for his high profile murder cases. This lawyer is one of the worst lawyers I have ever met and he has absolutely zero integrity, compassion, or empathy. He is strictly in this to make himself famous and rich. I wish I had went with another lawyer because I am sure the outcome would’ve been different. This lawyer made my friend sat in jail for 6 months only for the DA to offer a horrible plea deal. During this process of us trying to understand the plea deal David did not even meet with us to discuss it. It was not until Aron rejected the plea deal that David West decided to act like we were paying him for service. Aron accepted this plea strictly because of how horrible David west was as a lawyer and he was afraid that if he went to trial David West would not show up because there were times when Aron requested to speak to David West and David ignored his emails. And guess what? David West did not file the correct paperwork for Aron to be in court on June 18th. He and his paralegal Chasity lied to us that Aron was on the Calendar for court. We had to call the Fayette County Superior Court to find out the truth. When he finally submitted the paperwork David West did not show up to court like many others mentioned. He sent a completely different lawyer to court. Please do your research on this lawyer so you don’t end up like we did. His ratings are falsely inflated on Google but if you check his Yelp reviews you will see what type of lawyer he truly is. I highly recommend finding a lawyer with integrity, and a lawyer who will SHOW UP and DEFEND the client he is paid to represent. The only way David West will do his job is if he has a chance of appearing on TV. Find someone who is in this to help clients and not line their pockets like this horrible man. I am still in the process of filing a Complaint with the Bar Association just like many others have.

Hello my name is Carlos Singletary and I was told about Mr.West from a friend of mines I was incarcerated with.I had my wife to contact Mr.West but only reached his paralegal who informed my wife that it will cost 4 thousand dollars for Mr.West to take my case.I only needed him to be my parole lawyer....So we finally contacted and talked to Mr.West who insured me it wasn't a problem for him to take the case,he even sent me papers from the parole board stating I would get out around July or August 2022..I paid him around November 2021 and after receiving the promises I wasn't able to get in contact with him anymore at all..And I never got released on the promise date...My advice to Anyone,if you want to be free,DO NOT,I REPEAT,DO NOT give this man your money cause you WILL NOT EVER hear from him anymore..He's a lier ,he ripped me off for 4 thousand dollars and I haven't got a penny back..He is NOT a man of his word..I would appreciate it if you are reading this to share this information before he strike again...
