I was forced to file for divorce and found Sam's Law Firm on the internet. I had no idea what to expect from the process but was in a really bad situation that I had to get out of. The staff and attornys at the siemon law firm were extremely helpful and agressive in making sure my kids and I got ev...erything we needed out of the case. I was always able to reach them when I needed them, they responded to my calls and e-mails every time I needed them. I really felt like they were on my side and really cared about me and my problems. If I ever need a lawyer again, I will call them for sure.

Gave false info and poor counsel to line pockets. Advised me to motion for a jury trial, assured it wouldn't happen and was merely a "delay tactic," then proceeded to bill me over $20,000 for "jury trial prep" but never prepared me or any of my witnesses for testimony. I had no idea what questions he...'d ask me, or how to respond to opposing counsel's questions. Did not prepare a closing argument and had to speak extemporaneously, which was poorly done. Didn't tell me that my character affidavits were inadmissible in court unless the person was called as a witness UNTIL AFTER court. Said my child support could be modified after a few months. Advised me to pay the full amount a few times and then petition for adjustment. The Dep. of Child Services says I must wait 3 years... Never provided me a list of submitted evidence in advance of, or during, court. Billed me for document prep after court ended, and when I requested said docs in writing, he ignored me. He deposed a witness for opposing counsel without telling me (I found out when opposing counsel told me). Billed me for Facebook data mining yet never produced it nor submitted as evidence. Failed to submit our phone text messages as evidence. Knowingly and intentionally entered into evidence a false and inaccurate business evaluation in order to "help" my case (which BTW it did not). Declined to hire a court reporter, without asking me for my opinion on the matter, and as a result my testimony was mis-remembered and mis-quoted by the judge in his "decision" including most importantly, how much I earn, which the judge used to determine my income and child support erroneously. Billed me for weekly case update / debriefing meetings even though there were multi-month-long periods where nothing was happening, including over a month when he was "out of office." Lied to me about custody division. Told me during mediation, and afterwards leading up to arbitration, and again after arbitration, that 60/40 custody was the best I could get, because "the court can't issue true 50/50 custody" because "someone has to be the primary guardian in order to determine child support." This is false. I could have gotten 50/50 custody in GA.

Hired Siemon for just a parenting plan adjustment, turned out to be one of the most expensive (and worthless) things in my life. I initially wanted to hire Mr Edwards as my attorney and a couple days later transitioned to Ramses Frangie which should have been my first red flag. From the beginning I w...as sold ideas that they would be able to help me out. We spent months back and forth and came up with a very generic parenting plan, which seemed to have taken a very short time to document. Then a lot of downtime in between, (they bill you for every last minute of their time) They include these "team meetings" each time and bill your card every time. Once mediation time came, I was more prepared then my representation time. I spoke more and he seemed to just be there, not really making any true changes. He was completely defeated by the opposition and seemed unprepared. These cases seems to be the least of their priority and I never really felt like they truly cared about my case. I honestly regret my decision and I really wish it was different. If you want to spent you hard earned money on a law firm that will not really care about your case and give you results, here it is. Overall I received mediocre results for a HUGE price tag.

Something to be said about intuition, go with your gut on this one. I didn't and now I am paying the consequences. I could not afford to not take this opportunity to express my concerns and hopefully prevent others from having the same bad experience I did. There are too many good, knowledgeable at...torneys that are in this line of work for the right reasons, than for anyone to have to settle on this one. If you are anything like me, you know very little about the legal system and hope and pray that if ever faced with needing legal representation, that they will put you at ease while guiding you through this difficult process. This did not happen! I was told everything I wanted to hear in the initial consultation but then became just a number once my check was cashed. From the beginning, I informed them of where I was financially and what I could afford to spend. Not only did they not listen to this, but they didn’t listen to half the statements I made, as I had to give them over and over on multiple meetings with Mr. Siemon and his staff. This same lack of organization and preparation carried over in my case. Ultimately I lost the battle of getting my boys and only get to see them a fraction of the time that I should be. When it was all said and done, I lost getting my boys; lost half of nice yearly salary and given an attorney bill that was twice as much as I told them I could afford to pay. Now, I’m being sued by Mr. Samuel Siemon and the The Siemon Law Firm for non-payment. Help me understand this; you pre-qualify someone before they make any major purchases, wouldn’t the same apply to potential costly legal fees? If I walk in and tell you all I can afford is a Pinto, you can’t sell me a Cadillac. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting his services where that of a Cadillac either. If anything, the metaphor of the used car salesman is actually fitting. The fact is, I point blank told Mr. Siemon what I could afford to pay and now he is using his legal muscle to get money out of me that I just don’t have. See you in court Mr. Siemon. This time I can assure you that I will be better informed and much better represented. I hope you fight harder for your money than you do for your clients!
