Estate Planning

My wife and I were looking for a attorney to do estate planning. My wife's sister gave us Morgan and Disalvo as her attorney. We contacted Richand Morgan and could not have been more pleased. Richard has served us for many years and is always very thorough explaining all our questions, everything dea...ling with end of life transfer of the estate through the trusts on which we decided. Richard followed up numerous times to make sure we understood the impact of how our decisions and how they would effect our trust. He has kept us posted on needed changes in the laws and regulations and advised us how to best handle or change sections of our will. The staff was very efficient and accomindating and is always friendly and welcoming.

Estate Planning

My wife and I have been looking for a lawyer/firm to assist us in our Estate Planning for a few years now. Being new to the area and Georgia, we started researching and found Richard Morgan of Morgan and DiSalvo. During our first meeting with Richard, he sat down with us and explained in detail all... the different options. Not knowing what was all involved, Richard took the time to explain to us in terms we could understand and asked follow-up questions to ensure we understood it. He provided the data we needed to make a decision on the type of Will, Trust, and healthcare proxy that met our specific needs. Richard was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. Estate Planning

My husband and I were very pleased and impressed with the way Richard Morgan handled our Estate Planning process. He and his office staff were very professional every step of the way. Estate Plan

Georgia Estate planning for a California refugee

My wife and I moved from California to Georgia in 2017. We knew we needed to update our estate plans and wills to reflect this move, but had no idea as to the complexity the changes would entail. Richard Morgan in our initial consultation explained how moving from the community property state of Ca...lifornia with our Family trust was not applicable to the state of Georgia and that we would need to have it changed. At the same time, changes to retirement laws created by Congress through the Secure Act of December2019 needed to be reflected in the estate planning and wills that were being created. Now that we have signed and executed our wills and estate documents, we can state that the law firm of Morgan and DiSalvo are: 1. Thorough and knowledgeable about all of the aspects that go into creating a proper estate plan including understanding of tax considerations, special situations such as how to protect children with limitations or special needs, and in finding both practical as well as legal solutions to problems. 2. Constantly working to keep themselves up to date and knowledgeable about changes to retirement law from the federal and the state level. And reflecting those changes into the estate plans and wills that they create for their clients. 3. Most importantly, they bring a willingness to listen to the client and to try to incorporate wishes and ideas of the client into the estate plans. This is a not a one size fits all law practice. The final documents may start on a word processor but they are studiously altered to fit the client while maintaining the legal defenses that the entire process is designed to accomplish.
