Great estate planner!

Richard Morgan helped my husband and myself with wills and estate planning. Richard broke it down into layman terms. He spent as much time as necessary to explain estate planning and the many confusing terms. Even when we had to ask the same question multiple times. He always made us feel comfort...able and I enjoyed working with him. I highly recommend Richard Morgan for wills and estate planning.

Estate planning

We hired Richard to assist us with our estate planning needs. We specifically sought Richard out due to his practice focus on estate planning. From our first meeting with Richard, he demonstrated a vast knowledge of the law and alternatives under the law. He took a comprehensive view of our ne...eds and suggested a solution entailing trusts, wills, powers of attorney and advance medical directives. One of the incredibly valuable aspects of our interactions with Richard was his willingness to truly listen and in turn, to bring to life those aspects of the governing law that are often perplexing to the lay person. He fully answered our questions and sought to ensure we comprehended the provided responses. When we executed the final documents, Richard advised us on practical considerations for ensuring our wishes were communicated and captured going forward. His focus was not solely on the transaction, but instead on steps to be taken in future years and how he could help, if needed. We were pleased with Richard's knowledge, commitment and perspective.

Great Attorney

We hired Richard and his team to do our Estate and Trust work. Here are the key highlights: We phone screened 10 firms that were recommended or had great reviews online. We then interviews 3 in person. We selected Richard because he was knowledgeable, passionate, responsive, and had a very well or...ganized office manager. Richard’s price was about 25-50% higher than the other firms we interviewed but we clearly saw the expertise and personal customization he offered to make the documents do what we wanted. We are frugal people but we saw a huge difference in his strategies and approach. He exceeded our expectations in every way and was well worth the fee he charged. Specifically, he gave us unlimited time and patiently explained his process and thinking in terms we could understand, answered long emails with complete and detailed responses, made sure he was clear on our intent, helped us vet corporate trustees, and coached us through several difficult decisions about our family. Richard and his partner Lorraine have deep subject mater expertise that I am sure will save our family millions of dollars in taxes. He gave us real confidence about our estate plan. We will continue to work with Richard as our family grows. Great lawyer. Great team. Great service. Great work. Great value.

Excellent and Personable Service

My wife and I came to Richard to to update our wills and plan for how our estate might be passed to our children. Richard spent almost the entire afternoon with us explaining the nuance and implications of each decision we would face. It was an enlightening experience. Although Richard obviously ...knows his stuff and is most personable, what is most valuable to me is the knowledge that we have the estate plan that we want. With Richard's help, we knew our options and we've now chartered our course.

Everything you want in a lawyer

Richard was outstanding. We had very little knowledge going into getting our affairs in order, and Richard walked us through the entire process. He answered every question no matter how ridiculous. He responded very promptly to all emails and phone calls. He explained things in both legal terms a...nd definitely dumbed it down for us when we needed further explanation. He was professional, and we felt very comfortable divulging every nook and cranny of our lives to ensure that we got the best help he could offer.
