Last year I had an unfortunate night and was stopped and arrested for a DUI. Knowing I would need a lawyer I looked online and was lucky enough to find Susan Williams. I left a message for her explaining my situation and Mrs. Williams responded almost immediately. She discussed with me my case in-dep...th, was able to give me multiple examples of cases just like mine that she represented in the past and how she was able to get many charges similar to mine reduced significantly. It was clear that she had more than ample amount of education and experience under her belt. Not only that but I was surprised when Mrs. Williams, after discussing my case thoroughly and extensively, asked me how I was doing personally and if there was anything she could do to help then just her know. I was slightly taken back by how genuine and caring Mrs. Williams was. After retaining Susan she had stayed in frequent contact with me and was very effective in easing my very worried mind. On the day of my court case I met with Susan shortly before we went before the judge. She was careful not to make any promises but she made me extensively aware of her case and was able to instill in me some of her confidence and calm my nerves. Because I had blown a fairly high number on the breathalyzer I was more than happy with lessening my charges and I figured if Susan could do that then she was already worth her retainer fee. And then to my delight when we came before the judge Susan stepped up and clearly and confidently laid out my case, the errors in the arrest, and the lack of evidence. She stated multiple cases that have been tried in the past similar to mine as well as recited multiple traffic and arrest laws making it clear she knew exactly what she was talking about. Although I walked into the courtroom just hoping to get a lesser charge, Susan was able to have my charges dropped entirely. I was blown away. Susan went above and beyond what was expected of her. She was incredibly intelligent, well spoken, polite, and caring. She made her education and experience very clear to everyone that heard her speak. I could not recommend Mrs. Williams highly enough.

After talking to many lawyers who where considered experts in their fields about my situation. I kept getting the same answer over and over. “I’t can’t be done all you can do is get a pardon”. It just didn’t feel right for what I did. After talking to Susan and sending her my SLED report. I got a cal...l back with Susan saying “This can be done and here’s how where going to do it”. She knew laws and situations that I never heard from those expert lawyers. I now realize it’s because they don’t know half of what Susan knows. Something everyone else said couldn’t be done Susan and Ginny got it done. I can’t say enough good things about them. I made the unfortunate decision of getting a DUI in December of 2019. Susan was there to help me along the entire way. Susan is very good listener and getting all of the facts in the case. I also knew networking with other Departments and Agencies was important navigating through the cases. Susan has the networking experience. It has very beneficial that Susan has experience working on both sides of the law. This... helps understanding how to work with the Prosecutor, the Court and Law Enforcement through the case and the rights of who she is defending. Sometimes, it is a balancing act trying to get a positive outcome of the charge/s. She understands what is a fair outcome for both. Her follow ups are timely and concise.
