Prompt resolution to terrifying episode

Being charged with a DUI was extremely embarrassing and stressful. I scrambled to find an attorney on short notice, and came across Matt's impressive reviews. He called me back almost immediately after I reached out to him. He met with me on short notice and explained the charges as well as my opt...ions. Matt saved my career and my reputation. Matthew is the ONLY Rhode Island lawyer that I would recommend!

I am lucky that I had Matthew Marin as my defense lawyer. I was facing a DUI case in Rhode Island, where I declined a Breathalyzer test. Unfortunately, that was not enough to get me off the hook. I quickly understood the severity of my situation and researched for local DUI attorneys. While researchi...ng one thing stood constant, the high praise that Matthew received was incomparable. And after reading some of his cases, I knew that I was going to be in good hands. Matthew was very professional and methodical through out the entire process. It was a very reassuring feeling to see how well respected he was within the judicial community, more importantly, seeing how hard he fought to keep me get the best deal possible. My case resulted with a slap on the wrist charge. However, that wasn’t the end. After the first hearing of a DUI case, the court forbids you to drive (effectively suspending your license and registration). I stubbornly did not abide by this statute and continued live as usual. Days following the end of my DUI case, I was charged for driving on a suspended license and registration. I called Matthew, and once again needed his help. I was facing 10 days in jail or 2 weeks of house arrest. Meanwhile, I was just offered a job opportunity and needed to leave as soon as possible. Matthew was able to get me no jail time with only community service hours. Matthew is the ONLY Rhode Island lawyer that I would recommend! Thanks Matthew!

Highly Recommend Matt!

Matt has worked with my son on two occasions; within the past years. He is knowledgeable, understanding, and works hard for the client. He is represented my son with a DUI a few years ago. This year he was pull over again; and charged with DUI and refusal to take a breathalyzer. Due to Matt's exper...tise he was able to get all charges dismissed- resulting in accepting charges of "reckless driving" and refusal to take a breathalyzer. Matt represents his client with the highest level of expertise. I would highly recommend Matt!
