Dustin McCreay cares about his clients. He is not only an amazing lawyer but a good-hearted man. In our desperate time of need he was there for us. He stayed at his office and meet with us after his office hours had closed. We meet with Dustin several times after hours, due to our work schedules. ...My daughter’s situation was very unfair to her and we had no experience with legal matters. Dustin took her and us her parents under his wing. I knew at Dustin’s first impression he was the man we needed for the job. His confidence, presents and the way he spoke with us, gave us reinsurance. Dustin not only spoke to my daughter about her custody situation but he spoke with me. Dustin represented me through a very lengthy, very complex divorce, spanning almost 3 years. During this time Dustin had to battle 4 different law firms, each with their own strategies to sway the outcome in my ex’s favor. Dustin supported me through the custody battle, division of property, alimo...ny and child support battles with great success. Years after going through a domestic violence situation and getting away, my son was taken by the abusers family under false pretenses. I met & spoke with MANY attorneys and couldn’t seem to find anyone who gave me the feeling that they were even so much as interested in my complex case. I met Dustin and immediately knew that I needed him handling my legal matters. I was dealing with a painful divorce and custody situation and was not making any substantial progress in my case. Dustin took my call, set up an appointment with me, and explained everything that was happening how we woul...d move forward. Never were there any misconceptions about what was taking place or what the result would be. Dustin did not make me any guarantees. However, his ability to be straightforward was much appreciated. My particular situation involved many difficult roadblocks and Dustin managed them all with ease. I was able to call, text, email, and set up a meeting anytime I felt necessary. Even more surprising to me was when I had some urgent matters in the middle of the night, and Dustin responded almost immediately. (I emailed Dustin at 12:21 AM and got his response 12:24 AM. I still feel sorry for the late communication, but was amazed by his prompt attention.) When I found myself becoming frustrated or overwhelmed with the process, Dustin was always able to reassure and calm my nerves. Most recently Dustin assisted me with a Modification of Custody. The goal was to come to an agreement with the other party and avoid court which unfortunately did not happen. While I had been impressed so far with Dustin’s legal ability, demeanor, and communication; Dustin’s professionalism and preparedness in court far surpassed my expectations. The prep work on my case was nothing short of superb, and we met several times leading up to court ensuring we were both on the same page. On our final day in court, Dustin asked me how I thought we did. I told him I wouldn’t change a thing and after continuing to go over it all after the fact, I still wouldn’t change a thing. My only regret is that I didn’t hire Dustin sooner. I feel like he is invested in my case just as much as I am. Going forward I hope not to be engaged in legal matters, but if needed Dustin is the only lawyer I’ll hire.
