Working with Dustin McCrary has been one of the worst experiences. He would say one thing one month and then go back on it and say something different the next month - multiple times. He did not answer emails, phone calls, or texts. I had SOOOOO many questions during the custody and divorce process... that simply never got answered. Maybe he deemed them not worth his time THAT I PAID FOR, but, as a layperson, I don't know the law and that's why I hired him. Here's the kicker of the whole experience, it took me calling a third party to understand what was happening because he couldn't take the time to explain to me so that I understood. He was was rude, condescending, uncompassionate, and showed zero empathy. When everything was all said and done, I didn't even get a phone call thanking me for my business or congratulating me that the process was over. That is poor business practice. I highly suggest you speak with a few different lawyers before choosing this one and overpaying a retainer that you won't get back the unused portions of. I called around after the fact, my mistake, and other retainers were thousands less than his. His retainer was a very sizable amount that I used a fraction of. Money NOT well spent for poor service for such a personal matter.

My experience with Mr. McCrary was anything but successful If I would have continued listening to Mr. Mcrary I would have no control over my child visitation. At the consultation he told me I had a great chance . And it became very clear during my experience Mr McCrary was inexperienced with my ... situation . When I discontinue his service Mr. McMcCrary then inform me that he has a non -refund clause found under Method of Payment (iii) so I was not able to get the 3,600.00 back that was not use.I tried to get Mr McCrary to give aleast some of my money back but he refused. From this I learn .Good lawyer don’t use this method

Dustin McCreay cares about his clients. He is not only an amazing lawyer but a good-hearted man. In our desperate time of need he was there for us. He stayed at his office and meet with us after his office hours had closed. We meet with Dustin several times after hours, due to our work schedules. ...My daughter’s situation was very unfair to her and we had no experience with legal matters. Dustin took her and us her parents under his wing. I knew at Dustin’s first impression he was the man we needed for the job. His confidence, presents and the way he spoke with us, gave us reinsurance. Dustin not only spoke to my daughter about her custody situation but he spoke with me. With my daughter being his client and her confidentiality, Dustin still had time to speak to me privately. He insured me that he would do everything he could get my grandson back to his mother and us. We trusted Dustin and he didn’t let us down. Dustin’s presents in the court room was superior and demanding. He believes in what he’s fighting for and goes after. Dustin is not only an outstanding lawyer is a genuine great person. He’s fair, approachable, easy to talk to and even humorous. I would recommend Dustin to represent anyone for any case they may have. Thank you again Dustin for everything you did for my daughter and for us.

I got a speeding ticket right around Thanksgiving, but finding Dustin by reading his other reviews here made me feel confident that he'd be able to handle it. I was able to relax and enjoy the holiday! When we connected the following Monday, he exceeded my expectations. He's so prompt, thoughtful..., and personable answering all of my questions. He really took the stress out of the situation and I can not recommend him enough if you similarly find yourself ticketed. Go Tar Heels!
