Forced NJP/Admin Separation to Back on Track

I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Kopka or his assistant. After a pretty Trumatic experience while deployed with the legal system. I consulted Mr. Kopka about my situation and asked for his advice. Mr. Kopka told me that I needed to hire legal help and fight the charges. I acquired his service...s that day and I was probably the best decision I’ve made for my family and I in the last 10 years. His calm, cool, collective, and confident demeanor helped every time I spoke with him or when my wife would speak with him. He continually made us feel confident and put us at easy in a very trying time. The level of professionalism and amount of time and effort put into my case was shown in all the preparation and in how prepared Mr. Kopka was the day of my board. The time and effort he put into preparing me to take the stand and the level of detail in which we went into ensuring that if I was called I was going to be ready for any question that could’ve been asked me made me feel completely confident and reinforced my decision to hire Mr. Kopka. I am truly unable to put into words how grateful I am that I found Mr. Kopka and was able to acquire his services what he did for me and my family is nothing less than life-changing he save my career my retirement and my son’s 911 G.I. benefits. I also cannot say enough good things about his assistant she was always very professional very kind and very caring. In closing Mr. Kopka and his services were worth every penny that I spent and I would recommend him to my family to my Marines or anyone who needs legal assistance in dealing with any type of DOD Situation, admin separation, or NJP. Eric Kopka

Retaining the services of Eric Kopka was the best decision that I could’ve made. His intimate knowledge of the military judicial system allows him to anticipate, advise and prepare for any eventuality that may occur. Eric and Freddie were no more than a phone call away for over 3 years and 2 differ...ent cases, one of which the Marine Corps decided to take to an Article 32 hearing. Thankfully, both cases were dismissed and I only have Eric and his team to thank. During the entire process the communication and updates were constant, nothing was a surprise, and most importantly they kept me calm. I highly recommend Mr. Kopka and his firm no matter how small the charges may be. Thank you Eric and Freddy for helping finish my career!

Lost Sailor

I am a Sailor who was stationed with a Marine unit and I had been NJPed once and a few weeks later, was charged again and pending NJP. I knew that I was being targeted and refused NJP and requested Court Martial. I have been in the Navy for 10 years, and have never been in trouble until I came to t...his command. I didn’t understand everything that was going on and a friend of mine directed me to Eric Kopka. From the minute that I walked into his office, his staff made me feel so welcome. There is no doubt in my mind, that Eric and his team are knowledgeable people, who are willing to do whatever it takes to help their client. While my case wasn’t a typical case, my questions were answered, In a way that I could understand and set my mind at ease. As the time came closer for the Court Martial, I would regularly hear from Eric and his paralegal. Their confidence helped me to feel more confident in our case. He always made sure that I knew everything that could possibly happen. He was honest and never told me what I wanted to hear. He wanted to make sure that I knew every possible outcome of my case and never sugar coated things. When the case switched from a Court Martial to ADSEP, he and Freddie, never missed a beat. They both made the whole process less painful than it could have been. You can tell that they have worked together for a while because they make a wonderful team. Thanks to the hard work of Eric and Freddie, I was retained in the Navy. I have already recommended them to several of my friends and will continue to do so. If you need someone who knows Marine Corps Law and who will fight for you, not just take your money, The Law Office of Eric Kopka should be your next phone call!

Administrative Seperation

I was facing very serious allegations in civilian court which resulted in the Marine Corps wanting to separate me. Having no experience with anything along these lines before I, and my family, knew we needed legal assistance. After meeting with a base lawyer and not feeling very confident, I decided ...to reach out to Mr. Kopka. From our first meeting I immediately knew that he was a professional and experienced. He always seemed like he cared about my case and would work diligently to get the outcome for me that my family and I needed. He and his staff were always available to answer questions for me as well as for my family members. Through his attention to detail and professionalism he was able to get the board to come to a decision to discharge with a General Under Honorable characterization. With this characterization my family will still be able to get the benefits they need, which was what was most important to me throughout this entire process. I would absolutely recommend his services to any one in need of legal advice and assistance. Our family will always be grateful for his hard work and dedication to my case.

False Urinalysis

I was a Cpl in the USMC, I was finishing my first term, and reenlisting but while I was deployed at the time, I got shipped back home because before I left the unit took a urinalysis after the 4th of July 96. Everyone know there will be a urinalysis and I didn't have to worrie about anything because ...ive never done drugs in my life. But I popped on the urinalysis for codine(Pain Killers) for 200 nanograms over. Which could have been anything like the SACO not following protocol, or eating something that could mess with the test. But my CO didn't care he tried burning me for everything i had, I knew I didn't do anything, i called multiple lawyers and no one made me feel as comfortable at Eric Kopka, he did a amazing job, we had weekly meetings and if I ever had a question he was always a phone call away. He helped me prove myself innocent when I was trying to be proven guilty in a court marshall, and I thank him and his team for saving my future over something I never did. Mr. Kopka looks out for the little people that need the help, and for that in my opinion he is the best lawyer you could ask for.
