At first conversation, I knew I wanted him to represent me. He and Freddie were fully available throughout the seven-mont...h BOI process to answer any questions or concerns that I had and provide assistance with all responses required, leading up to the BOI. I was never without an understanding of the BOI process and his communication with the SJA and myself was above and beyond. When you need a Military Lawyer look no farther. Unfortunately I had an anonymous complaint against me. My unit moved me to another unit while conducting the investigation. My command did not inform me of the allegation. Nor did they inform me of where anything was in the process. I had zero idea of ...what was going on, within 24 hours of hiring Eric I knew basically what the complaint was. He kept me informed where the process was and consistently kept me informed of the next step. If I did not hire Eric I would have either made a mistake risking my career, or been extremely distracted by not knowing what was happening. Flawless execution. Mr. Kopka ran circles around the recorder, and used his networking in IIMEF to outpace the opposition. Together we developed a strategy to obtain our desired outcome of the BOI. With that he and his team worked diligently to prepare the information, kept me up to date, while worki...ng angles on the prosecution. He expertise, and strategy led to the prosecution borderline tapping out and realizing they barley had a case to sell. After a short deliberation I was retained.
