This is my fifth experience with a family law attorney (Paul was the 2nd North Carolina attorney). I have never seen an attorney work so hard, so efficiently, be so invariably responsive, and handle every situation so adeptly. Most family law issues do not keep regular business hours. Paul was alw...ays responsive over the weekends and often late at night when an issue arose. His advice and guidance, I believe, helped shape my case into a much stronger one. He always gave me an honest answer, even when it was something I didn't exactly want to hear, but it helped me know I could trust him. Don't be fooled by the "boy next door" appearance. His instincts are amazingly insightful and strong. In the courtroom, he's definitely the steely, sharp advocate you want on your side. He handled our case as if he was fighting for his very own family. He took a personal interest in what was going on, and stayed that involved for the 18-month duration of the case. And we won! I have usually not had great things to say about attorneys, feeling like they only logged their hours to get their fees. My former attorneys did not communicate well with me, and I believe lost my case due to their inattentiveness and lack of concern. Not so with this attorney. When we had an emergency situation, Paul dropped everything that day and worked like lightning to get an ex parte motion filed that very day. He treated us like we were his most important clients always. If you're in need of someone who will do the stressing out for you, and defend your cause as if his own livelihood depended on it, this is your man. You can absolutely trust him.
