After being threatened by my previous employer with an NDA I had in place, and also having them harass my current employer without cause, I knew it was time to seek counsel. Mrs. Bertini set my mind at ease. After a quick consultation and forwarding the NDA to her, she was able to find the holes in... the NDA and assured me that I had nothing to fear as far as litigation coming my way from the previous employer. Though, if it had/does go to litigation, now I know who I want on my side.

Lisa reviewed and offered her suggestions of the initial agreement. At first she advised me against signing since it was not a severance agreement at all, but an agreement to work another month with pay and give up my legal rights I may have against my employer. After consulting with her over severa...l days, she proposed several new paragraphs in the agreement whereby I was to be paid a severance after my last day of employment and a bonus due from the previous year. My employer agreed to both. I would encourage any employee with a severance agreement to have it reviewed by Lisa before signing.

Lisa Bertini is, hands down, one of the smartest, toughest and most professional women I have ever met.
