Brain Injury

I hired Mr. Thornton to represent me in a brain injury case. Mr. Thornton is not only incredibly smart and experienced, but he is also very personable and down to earth. He worked wonderfully with my family, friends and doctors. He always kept me updated with case developments, and promptly return...ed all calls and emails. I completely trusted him, which was a huge relief in a otherwise stressful situation. I would highly recommend him for hire.

Helped us Through the Loss of my Mother

Our family is all on the West Coast, so when a truck driver struck and killed my mother in Virginia, we didn't really know what to do. We found Jon through the recommendation of a friend-of-a-friend, and couldn't be more grateful for his service. More than just helping us understand the strengths... and weaknesses of our claims, Jon helped us navigate this very difficult situation, not just as parties to a lawsuit, but as a family. In the end, Jon helped us obtain a favorable result through mediation. While it didn't heal our wounds, it gave my family some closure, and it helped to ease the burden of the gaping hole my mother's death left in our life.
