Recommendation

Tucker was very helpful in explaining to me my citation and options. He knew what the judge was likely to do because I got my ticket in Eastville. His office called me with reminder messages as my court date drew closer and I didn't have my paperwork in. His office staff was very helpful and kind.... I felt well cared for and my fears about my citation were dispelled - that is what I appreciated the most. The fee was reasonable.

Speeding ticket - Reckless driving

Received a speeding ticket in Virginia, over 80 mph which is reckless driving and considered a misdemeanor. Mr. Watson was easy to deal with and to the point. Charge was lowered and I didn't have to drive 6 hours each way to be at the hearing.

Out of State Savior

In March of 2016 my family and I went to VA for Spring Break and I was pulled over in a speed trap and treated very poorly by the officer. The officer was abrasive and rude! It turns out that VA Police target NJ and NY drivers while in their state. Since I live 5-1/2 hours away I was not looking ...forward to returning for a court visit. Since my initial intent was to fight the ticket I decided to get a lawyer. I received about 20 advertisements from VA Lawyers and picked Mr. Watson just because it was just a flat fee regardless if I pleaded guilty or not. Mr. Watson saved me the 11 hour drive to VA and back and got my ticket reduced to a non moving violation. It was the best money I could have spent. My driving record remained untarnished and I saved me a weekend trip. I figure the hotel charges alone were worth his fees! Mr. Watson did a great job and I had to do nothing! If you are a northerner and find yourself in VA you will need to know Mr. Watson! I took a chance in hiring a lawyer I knew nothing about but I hit the jackpot with Mr. Watson!

Excellent Advice!

I contacted Mr. Watson in regard to a speeding violation in Chincoteague. I felt the ticket was not fair and the officer could not explain why he had pulled me over. Mr. Tucker was honest in that my options were to hire an attorney, represent myself in court (I live in Florida) or pay the ticket an...d what impacts that would have on me in the long run. I requested Mr. Watson represent me at the end of my first conversation with me. His office staff was in touch through the whole process as well. I received a call immediately after court from Mr. Watson informing me the officer could not provide the necessary information for the judge to "convict" me. Although this is not common, I had an excellent attorney present to know the process and the proper questions and evidence required for a "conviction." A small retainer fee and huge piece of mind is so worth it. Mr. Watson -- Thank you for your advice and services!

Grateful Client

I'm a 67 year old female who lost her husband after 25 yrs. of marriage. I had a 2 yr. old new car with only 2500 miles on it and had to drive to NJ to attend a family funeral by myself. Not used to driving alone the 7 hour trip was very stressful and unfortunately I received a speeding ticket after ...pulling out of a gas station and accelerating too fast before I could adjust my speed. Having had no traffic violations in over 20 years I was afraid I'd lose my liscense and insurance. A friend suggested I get a lawyer to help me ask the court for mercy and recommended Mr. Watson. His professionalism and understanding of my situation as well as what he would try to do for me gave me hope. Having made no promises to me I just knew he meant every word he said. He handled my court case and called me to tell me he was able to have my mistake reduced to improper driving with reasonable court costs and fine. I am so relieved and grateful to him for his aid. I do know that should I undertake a trip again, I'll definitely be more mindful about checking my speedometer when accelerating into traffic.
